    What about the water props from Spacebones ??I can't find it cause my search ability sucks but it's on ShareCG oh and why aren't your books e-books??

    so i suspect it may not be particulary poseable, but it is free so you could download it and try it out

    Nerd3D had a water spray script/product thingy which has moved over to hivewire. I'm not sure how well it would work for your needs as I think it was mostly designed for hoses and showers. But it kind of worked like dynamic clothing in a way. you put the "nozel" where you wanted the water to come from, then placed a disc type thing where you wanted the water to go, then ran through an animation and picked the frame you like best. (That's the simple basic jist of it from what I understood)
