Stage FX Beams Issue

It's been a while since I've played with these but I just found a huge issue that I'm suprised hasn't been mentioned before.
Load a character (any character) pose said character. Everything works as it should.
Load up the Stage FX Beams. Pose the character. Everything still works as it should.
Now, turn on any of the stage lights and pose the character. Watch the geometry do all sorts of weird things.
If you delete the lights, the character will once again pose normally. Once you have your stage lights set, you can unparent all the planes and delete the rest of the set, then the character will pose normally again. Which will work for still renders, but anyone wanting to do animation is out of luck.

That's an older product and I didn't even think it worked in 4.7 or 4.8. Did it actually work in those versions? I had thought about getting it once or twice, but didn't think those older lighting products worked. I might consider getting it during a sale if it still works in 4.7 as I still have that on my laptop.
Oh, and why don't we get screenshots of geometry doing all sorts of weird things? It might help someone who has that product and might know the problem. Also, I'm curious about the weird geometry.
I picked it up and was using it around the time and after 4.8 came out. I used it in my subway scene in my gallery which was done in Iray.
OPen a ticket with Tech support and provide screen shots of whats happening. If memory serves, that product dates back to DS3
Is the light set somehow accidentally "fit to" or parented to the figure?
nope and I also checked to make sure that somehow the figure wasn't getting set to "point at" the added camera (all the "fog" planes get pointed at a default camera that is also added)
*edit*
Well now I'm very confused. I had plenty of problems with this the last couple nights trying to set up a scene. I ended up crashing Daz last night (Probably setting the displacemet value of a surface to subD of 12 just to see what it would look like)
And this morning it was still happening when I replied to this topic.
I just went back into Daz to see if deleting the character and re-adding or adding the character after the lights would have the same effect and I can't even get the original problem to show up... It's gone, poof!
So, does that mean everything is working again then?
Not sure yet. could be just a fluke that it wasn't working, or it could be a fluke that it did start working.
After my render I'll have to try again.
Let me know because I'm interested in getting it if it still works in latest version of DS. Thanks.
Still testing, but it seems that it's only affecting genesis 2 females (although when I ran the test on genesis 2 male and genesis 3 figures, I had not closed Daz. Trying that now)
but this only seems to affect the character if it's loaded before the lights. so if you load the lights first, or delete the character and re load, it seems to go back to working normally.
Thanks for letting me know!
I'll have to do some more testing but it seeme that the first character in the scene tree is affected. I loaded genesis female, genesis male, g2F, g2M, G3F, G3M, M4 and V4.
Then I loaded the FX lights.
The genesis female wouldn't pose but all other's would. deleted and reloaded genesis female and she posed fine. deleted the fx lights and reloaded them and the genesis male wouldn't pose right (he was now at the top of the list). repeated the whole process and the G2F wouldn't pose (being at the top of the list)
So now I want to see what happens when an object or prop is at the top of the list.
