I happen to love working with Noodles. I have the mil cat, but haven't done much with it. I guess it depends on if you want a more realistic kitten or if you want to play with the theme a little. My vote would be for Noodles, though!
I think there is a kitty that comes with Poser 11 pro but not sure if she is in an earlier version or not.

Crikey we've had a couple new generations of the Dragon but still must limp along with the same old cat that is nearly a decade old.
More than a decade. MilCat came out around 2003 by the dates of the files in the package. (If I'm remembering them correctly.) It still looks pretty good if you can get fur onto it.
Hivewire has a house cat in progress. No ETA just yet, but the WiP threads look very good. Their cat is also tied to a whole series of other animals which are planned to share the same rigging, mesh and UVs (mostly), allowing for cross=species morphing possibilities. The concept looks really promising, but the fact that it's several different species at once that are being worked on probably means that it will be a while longer before any of them appear.
I'd like to see a new cat figure (I am one of those crazy cat ladies... at least I will be in 31-ish years).

Noodle brings something different to renders. I haven't tried MilCat yet.
MilCat = Real-ish renders
Noodle = Funny(ish), unreal renders
I love to be different, so I'd go for Noodle. Although, I'd probably end up doing both...

Maybe not as good as a new model but there are free real fur (LAMH) presets for the Millenium Cat available on his site. Scroll down to Millenium Cat here: http://www.furrythings.com/presets/ Since they are presets only the free player is required to use them

Here's an ancient image but still the best kitten I have ever used. For the life of me I can't remember where I got the morph from but I love it. It's the millenium cat.

Ditto! It would be nice to have wolf cub morphs to go with them! But, I'll settle for cats and kittens to start! :)
Kittenshower?
Is that a holiday? A website? Or is that like a baby shower...? Or where one showers someone with kittens (potentially painful for both the kittens and the one being pelted with them)... Or is it showering with a kitten... Probably using it like a luffa... ? There is a small margin of probability that it's a reference to something kinky, in which case, please don't explain... Or could it possibly a new cat based rendering tool?
It's hard to keep up with current lingo.
Blacky and Mesky are adorable standalones by Yanelis, especially with their stylized, slightly toony style, but they do have their limits. Rigging is very basic, so posing is not particularly realistic. Their mouths are also modeled closed, just in case anyone was wondering.

...the issue with the old Mil Cat is certian poses that would be natrual for a feline tend to seriously distort parts of the mesh.
I've started hoarding digital cats. So I'm a "crazy digital cat lady" (lol).
