Very good ancient morphs

Today I saw a Victoria morph/skin at Renderosity which was stunningly realistic. Last moment before buying, I saw that it was a morph/skin for Victoria3, which I don't own, so I didn't buy.
But this makes me wonder: How come some old, not to say ancient Victoria morphs can give me a better life-like impression than Victoria7 and some of her generation of females? What is it that makes these old models so convincingly human?

Just out of curiosity, what is the V3 one?
I don't know offhand what might be available for V7, but I know the following products exist for Genesis and Genesis 2. Don't know if they can be moved forward another generation since I don't work with those, but you could research the possibility just in case. The products are:
Skin Overlay for V5 and M5 Skin Sets ( http://www.daz3d.com/skin-overlay-for-v5-and-m5-skin-sets ).
Aging Morphs 2 Bundle HD ( http://www.daz3d.com/aging-morphs-2-bundle-hd . See individual products within this bundle.)
Perhaps there is a similar product could be available for V7, or will be at some point in the future? Regardless of other issues, the latest model will of course have fewer options available simply because it is new and thus not all products for it will have had time to be created yet.
In my opinion Victoria 3 has the best, most morphable face... soooo many things you could do with her. I >hate< her body, specifically her pelvis/hip area and her football pad shoulders. But that face.. She got lots of add on morph packs, all sorts of great ethnic morphs that haven't been recreated to such a degree for any of the newer figures.
The V3 morph is called Metropolitan woman Manhattan.
