My viewport is white

So, I don't know what I've done - but every time I add a new asset my viewport turns white. I can change it back - but it will *not* persist and it's driving me crazy! I'm brand new to Daz Studio 4.9 (just downloaded it yesterday) and I'm used to the nice dark grey in my viewports in 3D rendering programs. I've tried changing things in preferences and I cannot get it to stay gray. Please help!

Thanks!

Scenes store their backdrop settings, new scenes always start without any backdrop (just the viewport colour) so if the content you load is a scene file or is creating a new scene you will lose your setting from the Environment pane. Settings to the Viewport colour, made in Window>Style>Customise colours, should not be changed but they will be hidden if the Environment pane backdrop is turned on; however, Viewport colour does not render.

Ah, finallky fixed it! Thank you! I *knew* it wouldn't render as part of the scene - it was just blowing my eyes out every time I added a new asset - as well as driving me nuts that I couldn't seem to stop it happening!

    THanks so much! :D
