Well, there already are F/F pose sets and one M/M pose set here in the store, so I do agree there needs to be more romantic as well as platonic sets for men.

This is the one couple's set

I also started a thread which addresses this topic

RenderGuyNY also made a great free pose set since I Was hankering for a gay marriage set.

You should be able to use both F-F and M-M in any of these pose sets. Some adjustment may be required, but that is often the case even with single character poses. Oddly enough, there are size differences in real life, in both directions.

Sure. I haven't seen many pose sets featuring a short male and a tall woman.. It is almost always the female character who is the shorter person in the couple pose set reinforcing a stereotype. I'd love a couple pose set for both genders for characers of equal size. But I haven't really seen one.

In general, I find female poses often appear  overdone in a lot of ways. When used on men, you have to remove a lot of elements and adjust for height. It is doable, but I think a set designed for the gender in question would be more useful.

I really like the set made by RenderguyNY. It illustrates what a samesex pose set should look like. Although for some reason it is no longer available. sad

That's actually pretty darn sad that's the only place you can find same-sex couple poses made for the specific gender. Especially if you're not into hardcore stuff, too.

Darkworld over at Rendo has some.  IIRC, there were more for the Gen 3 figures than Gen 4, less for Genesis and even less for G2 and G3.  I don't frequent Renderoctica so I don't know if the same holds true there.

I like tame stuff personally.   My art is mostly family friendly but I do have one gay couple and I'd like to be able to render them interracting. I think I'd actually prefer less gendered poses. One of the thing I liked about Genesis was the neuter pose sets which could be used for either gender

Oh, I was only joking EleganceLiberty. I didn't mean to offend if I did. I use whatever3d for a lot of product searches and it seems no matter what I search for, that site always shows up. Not that it bothers me though...

Icprncss is correct though. I've seen quite a few Gen4 stuff over at Rendo before. and I think some Genesis 2 stuff as well. I never had a use for them, so don't know "how much" exists out there. But I would think you could still use opposite sex couples poses to some varying degrees of success for same sex couples. I thought that was part of the point of the Genesis products.

    seems gone:(

I, too, generally just use couple sets and adjust.  Even non-romantic same sex sets (like the sisters sets or that Destiny's Child-esque set) needs adjustments to take into account hieghts, heels, etc.

Yeah, I'm not sure where the poses are. Maybe he took them offline to redo them. You could probably PM him and find out.
