So, now we have a V6 version along with G2M & M6, V5, and M4 here with the G2F and V4 versions over at Rendo. I swear I asked this before but I can't seem to recall where so I'll ask here to see if I can get a PA response or at the very least get people talking about it...
Is there going to be an M5 version? Also, are there any plans on bringing the others over here to the Daz Store? It would be really helpful, not only to have a complete set, but to be able to get them all in one place at that.

I mentioned recently over in the Commercial thread that I was working on some of the Genesis UVs. I've actually completed Michael 5 and Stephanie 5, and will be doing David 5 and Aiko 5. I haven't submitted them yet and so they won't be available for several weeks, at least. Also I have no plans to move the other sets, but circumstances can change.
Ahh! Okay! I knew I asked it somewhere! Thanks for the personal responce!
So, I'm curious, just how many characters are you doing?
Also, yeah, I'm glad to here you're open to the idea at least. It's just that it would much more convienient for me store credit-wise to have everything in one cart. Why did you put the first two products on your Rendo store, anyway? Were you originally planning on just releasing them all there?
The Genesis UVs mentioned above will probably be the last ones I do, and that will have covered, for me, all the commercially viable conversions. I released the first two at Rendo because I was, and am, a vendor there. They were successful so I submitted the next ones here, to broaden my base. But there is no plan, as such.
Just bought them, and thank you very much for having a store over here, as I don't like the idea of paying a 10% sales tax on digital downloads! (Plus, their marketplace reconfig, negated my account and CC! So yeah, all my money goes here.)
I am just the opposite, love shopping over there and I don't pay taxes over there, but do here, go figure. Anyhoo, love your products Cayman, keep up the great work!
So I take it there won't be a Freak 5 or Hiro 5 version? If you're keeping it commercially viable, why is David 5 being done? he didn't sell well, either.
From my perspective this isn't really a science. I don't have Freak 5 or Hiro 5, but I do have David 5 and regard him as a significant character whose UVs I can convert relatively painlessly. I understand other people may have different preferences, but I have to draw the line somewhere - or I'll never get out!
I guess, but those are the only other characters left on the G1 spectrum, and if any character needs significant UV support, it would definately be the Anime Boy and the Monsterous Tank. ;)
But I do like how you're at least preserving the integrety of what I always like to call the "Gen 2 Quartette" (Victoria, Michael, Stephanie and Aiko) which do perservere every Generation. I always did feel like that if any of the classic guys should have survived it should have at least been David. He was the only other "Real World" male next to Michael, and Real World characters evidently do outshine all other base types.
....I can see the Gen6 ones being a real bother as they issued so many different "custom" UVs for each single character figure. Oddly I rarely use Michael or Victoria but mostly the other figures like Steph, AIko, Kids4, Julie, Justin, Belle, Giselle, Josie, Mei Lin, etc.
It would be awfully nice to be able to reuse the Kids4 skins on our Growing Up morphed G3 kids. But apart from that, there aren't really any major holes in the lineup. Everything else seems to either date back to gen3 or be stuck in the limited-use custom UV camp.
I was rather surprised to sit down and see how few of the characters in my library actually use the V6 UV set. However, while I only own a dozen or so of them, there are still enough more out there that it makes the V6 to G3F set worth buying. On the other hand, I don't believe there were more than five skins ever made for D5, so that's going to make for a much tougher sale.
I agree, would love to use some kids4 skins on G3, although I think many Thorne textures for V4 could work very well too for young kids. (On sale now!)
True. A lot of Thorne's dolls are very baby-faced, even if they are for V4.
It is her morphs that make them baby faced, though naturally the textures are young skin as well. In reality most female skins work just fine for children (of either gender) as long as there is at least one no makeup option, and also (and this is the harder requirement to find) they don't have those plucked straight eyebrows that most females in the store seem to have.
Plucked eyebrows are a pet peeve. I have nothing against them per se, but I wish there were at least 10% of unplucked. Also, identical eyebrows on both sides force me to Photoshop the face when I'd rather not.
Wow, really? Wanna switch for a week? LOL! JK, But yeah, I do miss renderosity, but that bridge was already burned for me...
