Daz Lip-Sync question

N-RArtsN-RArts Posts: 1,603

Hello,

I was just wondering why the 32-bit version of Daz has Lip-sync, but the 64-bit version doesn't.

(Short and sweet :P)

Thanks :)

Daz never created a 64 bit version for reasons unknown

On a related issue, not meaning to derail the thread but mine was never answered and since you are here cheeky

Is this a licensing issue too?

Hi I recently worked out a method for using the old mimic 3 pro to create lipsinc for my G2 Figures in the 64 bit version of daz studio. You simply export the figure as a poser CR2 and use that in the mimic pro session manager. The resulting animated pose file is imported to DS and is quite accurate on g-1/g-2. No option for G3 But I do not use G3 so I don't care.

I found a CR2 version of Lilith 6 on my computer earlier. I tried adding her to Mimic 3 Lite, but her model wouldn't load (the viewer remains empty/black).

I've tried exporting G2F, but, at the moment, I'm not really getting anywhere. I will give it another try over the weekend.

    Hi lip sync Daz peoplez

I'm quite happy with DS 32bit Lip Sync auditions and now I wish to add the extras as shown in this official video

After some advanced searching on the forum I'm still a bit confused

I'm aware there's a Mimic Lite and Mimic Pro for Carrara, both I bought and played with

is there a DS 64bit version of Mimic that manifests as a window pane like in that video?

If so is this the one? https://www.daz3d.com/mimic-live

It doesn't say 32bit or 64bit though I better ask and be sure thanks very much

I've bought the 64-bit Mimic Live! version as it was in a sale. It's for 4.9 (although I would've hope it would be usable in 4.8).

I haven't got around to trying it yet, but I'm glad that I no longer have to have the 32-bit version of DAZ installed to a USB, so that it doesn't write over the other versions of Daz on my computer.

Thanks Wolf, forgot to tell you I bought it on your account!

Devilsatdusk I also got it on sale. Just found out the 64bit version Audio import doesn't import pre-recorded wav files. My microphone also not the top of the line...

So I went back to using Lip Sync! But no regrets, I collect these lip syncing toys anyway...
