Iray scene size?

How do I  tell the size of what's being sent to iray when I hit render? Is there even a way?

I feel like it's either something really obscure or impossible, or really obvious and I'm just not seeing the forest for the trees.

    open windows task manager, it will show you your memory usage per program,

    or for your vid cards memory use MSI afterburner it will show you your videocard memory usage, you can also set it up to

    display your total memory usage for eirter VRam and/or PC memory. also your hardware temps and more.

     

    but task manager is the easiest

    There isn't really a way to do it...there are several 'close' guesses. One of which is using the Nvidia control program that comes with the Nvidia drivers.  GPU-Z is another.
