There is no way to revert back to the previous version  as with other platforms, and the FBX as it stands today is broken for DUF related expression export. I and a couple of folks have reached ot to Daz only to get the runaround. Here's another customer who has been severely handicapped by the upgrade.

http://forum.reallusion.com/287158/When-will-we-get-the-DAZ-facial-pipeline-back-Latest-version-of-DAZ-has-broken-the-talking-character-conversion

I was brushed off and told "we will get our developers on this" after waiting 3 days for a response.  In my previous response, I asked for a link to the older verison, a question I asked twice which was ignored.  SO, I have to wait another 3 days to maybe get the link after I asked for it again (3rd time)--meanwhile, an entire week will have gone by with  my inability to complete my project at this phase.  If you haven't upgraded yet please do not until this is fixed, if it ever is.

yes Bigh as do I, 7 years of learning but sadly not helping others.

I tried  exporting from PoserPro as dae and converting and Carrara to see if that was an alternative but it failed to bring the morphs into expression editor now I have provided CS with my copy of the old dll to make it easier to know which version needed asking if they can make it available for download, it is up to them now, I cannot risk my account sharing it sadly, I have too much invested.

I have the life  attitude even if  "I am alright mate"  tomorrow it could be me, when I needed a neighbour were you there? So try to help others where I can.

According to the change log (after 4.9.3.18):

    • Fixed FBX export of non-transform property animation curves

    • Added support to the FBX exporter for distributing auto-follow base figure animation curves to fitted figures( i.e., clothing, hair, etc)

    • Fixed a potential crash in the handling of specialized PBR materials in the FBX Exporter

    • Fixed ordering of FBX Exporter option frame settings to match the order of the options displayed to the user

    Nice!

One notable FBX in 4.9.2.70 is figure imports from Poser and iclone behave better than 4.8 (still out of shape or missing roots but not as crazy so there's progress)

Now I go back to experimenting with exporting Genesis 3 to Poser (pro 11) to attempt to get some talk designer lip sync happening, using FBX

some of the face morphs work, some don't, also don't know why the head region morphs exported twice (genesis3female_ectrl blah and also head_ectrlblah). FBX related probably

shall report later go play now
