    Can you even imagine how many Urban Sprawl 3 renders are going to flood the galleries once this hits the store?  Stonemason products will overrun the gallery!  Of course, I can't say that's a bad thing, either.  I plan to be one of those flooding the gallery!

    At least it's not like No Man's Sky. That got pushed back two months and the devs got DEATH THREATS. Heck, even the people just REPORTING the delay got death threats.

    Yeah, the games 'community' is just...VILE right now. :(  And I say that as someone who dearly loves their videogames...

    Anyway, back to the off-topic on-topicness, I'm not sure I have leather chaps for a US3 render...  I'm pretty sure I have a bandolier...or three. ;)  Maybe Nikisatez or Bobbie25 will do some leather chaps to go along with the US3 release...  And I think leather chaps ON TOP of hot-pants would work just fine for the guys.

    I, for one, am so thankful for this thread because otherwise, by the time Urban Sprawl 3 comes out next week (hopefully), I would have spent all my Daz money. So, regardless of how tempting ironman13's HQ Hoodie and Sveva's Fantasy Leather Shaders are, I have to prioritize, and no vendor (except Raiya) comes before Stonemason (for me).

    Maybe if we start a no buy campaign they'll speed up the release.

    Or maybe they'll just release leather chaps with hotpants for G3M and everbody will cave.

    If you're doing Genesis 3, Cowboy for G3M has chaps.

    If you're not, then you have to punt all the way back to Steam Cowboy for M4H4 or Luthbel's Midnight Hunter M4. (Steam Cowboy is a sight cheaper, although I like Midnight Hunter as well. I wish they'd update Steam Cowboy for G3; it's got a coat that's not like much else in the store.)

    Of course, if you're going to have your en-chapped dude properly roaming the streets, remember: nothing under the chaps but a leather thong. None of this "hot pants" business, oh no no no! Real Virtual Men Wear Thongs!

    Well, I might have done the same if I like her, but I wasn't impressed much.  I am hoping that I like Ivan 7, though.

    I was going to start a new thread for this, but if Stonemason is reading, maybe he'll have a quick answer. Does Winter Terrains still work in Studio 4.9? I can't get it to work now, and I was hoping for a possible Iray update one day (since the materials do not work in Iray). Anyway, don't mean to derail the thread.

    just tested it in  4.9.1.30 and it renders fine in 3delight?

    I dont think it will ever be made Iray compatible.I do have a different technique for doing snowy terrains in Iray but that will be something for future sets.

    Thank you, yes I was finally able to get it to work. Apparently if you render them once in Iray accidentally, you have to restart Studio to get them to render correctly again in 3Delight.

    I've been playing video games for 37 years and yes, I've never seen this community as deplorable as it has been in the last few years.

    I've been playing video games for 37 years and yes, I've never seen this community as deplorable as it has been in the last few years.

    Indeed, I hesitate to even consider myself a gamer, but if you go over to gog, you will find plenty of oldschoolers over there, and like here it's pretty civil, especially considering that the moderation aren't as strong as it is over here!

    I had decent luck with Winter Terrain in Iray, but I mostly just redid the shaders completely since it's a specialized 3DL thing and then cribbed mask textures to layer stuff.

    As far as I can figure out, yes.

    Also there's some footstep displacement thingies that don't work well in Iray because of Iray's general meh with displacement.
