If a pair of shoes comes as a group, is there a way to make one of the shoes invisible?

    You should be able to select all of the nodes and hit the Visible button in the Parameters pane.

    I think, he wants to know how to hide a shoe, when both shoes are ONE prop.

    Anyway.

    Select the shoes in the Scene Tab. Open up the Geometry Editor Tool -> Lasso select all the polys of the shoe you wanna hide, then right click->Geometry Visibility-> Hide Selecteced Polygone(s)

    Boom shoe gone :-)
