Mild complaint about the batch renderer

I just recently picked up the batch renderer and have been catching up on getting my backlog of scenes rendered but I noticed that it doesn't wait for dforms and smoothing to finish before it starts rendering. If the scene is small and loads quick, this usually isn't a problem as the smoothing and dforms finish processing before the render kicks in. But if it's a larger scene or there's a lot of smoothing and dforms, it will start rendering before they are finished processing so you end up with pokethrough or un dformed items in the render :(

What's the exact version of DS?  There was a fix in the DS 4.9.2 release for rendering beginning before smoothing and collision has finished.

Ahhh, well I guess my complaint is with myself not upgrading from 4.8 yet then.

I've been busy trying to catch up on renders now that I have the batch renderer, I've put off updating to 4.9

You could install the beta to see if the problem is solved without losing your 4.8 general release.

Nah, I've no reason to keep 4.8 over 4.9

Just haven't done it yet LOL

What batch renderer do you speak of?  Is this for Iray?

I think I could use one, the only one I knew about was in the Rendo store.

    This one :)

    http://www.daz3d.com/batch-render-for-daz-studio-4-and-rib

It uses the scenes saved settings and only does 1 camera per scene (make sure the scene is saved in the camera view and not the perspective view because it will render the perspective view then)

And has no problems with Iray.

OK, I think I need to pull the trigger on this.  I have a lot of scenes ready to render now.

So, I save the scene with the camera I want to use selected.  Can I do multiple cameras then?  Sounds like I can, but need to save it as a new scene.  I'll also be using Iray as well.

    I.e., I have Scene 01:

    Scene 01, select Camera 01 - save Scene01_Camera01.duf

    Scene 01, select Camera 02 - save Scene01_Camera02.duf
