Will daz 4.9 work with photoshop elements 10 software?

The reason I'm asking is, that I have this version of software that I use to do random imaging with. I spent a time looking for the cs5 version and then seeing the price of it, I didn't think it would pan out well for me in the long run. Nor, did I want to put out that much money on something that I will only use occasionally and not professionally. just curious about this....

Not sure really what you are asking here. Photoshop Elements is a graphic image program - DS isn't. Your render/art/image made with DS will certainly open in any graphic image program for you to do postwork, if that is what you are asking?

Perhaps the question is about the PS Bridge?

i use it all the time for altering images or postwork

dont know why people always mention gimp as ps substitute

would be very nice if the bridge would work with this but it doesnt

I had PS CS5 on my iMac but I now have a Windows 10 PC and am trying to convince myself that Gimp is just as good. But there are things in PS that I miss so I've looked hard at PS Elements too.

I have CC on my iMac, and now I have a Windows 10 PC, I just transferred it across (well, re-downloaded it to be exact). Couldn't have done that with CS6 or CS5, and at just 8 quid a month, it'll be a looong time before I've spent as much as a single copy of CS6, yet alone the two I'd need to run both Win and Mac.

I tried Elements, but too many things that I use regularly were missing.

Actually, the boxed versions of CS3/4/5 can be transferred.  Just redownload or use the installation disk.  HOWEVER, before your old machine dies you need to "Help-->Deactivate" the license.  Then after the software is installed on the new computer you register it over there.  As explained here https://forums.adobe.com/thread/926511 I've done this several times.  And I believe if your old machine incoveniently dies before you need to deactivate the license, you can call or chat with Adobe's help desk to get them to deactivate from their end.

I tried really hard to like GIMP, but I just don't. I know that objectively it can achieve most everything PS can (minus the newer 3D type things I don't use anyway) but PS just feels that much nicer in every little way. CC has gotten really good at just seeming to know what I want to do with something without me actually having to select an option. I'll happily keep paying my $10 a month for that convenience.

I tried the bridge for awhile but honestly I find it simpler to just do a very basic Studio render that's more designed for clear vision of everything, and then open that in a graphics program (which means you can use any of them.) SnowSultan has some amazing drawing doll seams for G2F and seam guides for various others for free in various places I'm too lazy to find again that are fantastic for drawing reference.

Unfortunately, the Mac was used at my last job, before I retired, and much of the software is registered in the company name. They just let me keep it for as long as I keep the computer but I don't want to involve them in re-registering issues. I anticipated license problems so I bought Affinity Photo for Mac about a year ago and I do like that. But there is not yet a Windows version (although one is being developed).

I'm in the beta queue for that~ I haven't tested it but it looked really interesting, mostly because I want to find alternatives to Illustrator for Windows because even though I like PS a lot paying for all of the Adobe Suite just for PS+AI isn't exactly efficient.

Yes - I also signed up for the beta. No news yet though.

Adobe has pretty much always charged at least as much as for an upgrade to switch from Mac to Windows (or vice versa) prior to CC.
