Bend fixers?

I've been thinking about the bends in knees and elbows of late. There's a number of bend fixer products out there.  Are they just additional morphs that you use to smooth things out? Do they auto fix the bends?

    Zevo's morphs actually fixes the bends (Genesis 3) magnificantly, I might add!
