My original question has been answered and solved (thanks tattooedillusions). If you would like to use this to post other hair identity requests, please feel free. In fact, this could conceivably be a first stop resource for anyone looking for hair, (though that does seem a bit too tidy a solution for this forum).

Does anyone know what hair this is? (main promo) I stay abreast of what's out, and either its a morph of something else or a pre-release or? Thanks in advance.

    Possibly SAV Aphana Hair by StudioArtVartanian over at Rendo.  That's my wild guess anyway lol

    Thanks tattooedillusions. That was the first one that occurred to me, but I don't have it because the front of it looked so funny. She always packs plenty of morphs into her hair, though, so maybe you're right.

    Yeah it did look a little different from the Aphana promos but it just screams SAV lol.  I could very well be wrong since I don't have that particular hair either.  Might pick up a couple things myself since her store is on sale right now lol.

    I just bought it. Thanks for helping to convince me. I did a promo by promo comparison, and I'm convinced they're the same. It's just that Jo's renders tend towards expressionism rather than photorealism.

    haha anytime.  Glad to help.  Think I might finally get the Athena & Aram hair & probably the Athena Slip.  All should work well with G3F.  The Genesis version of the Alpha Moikana works perfectly even by autofit which is very rare due to the length of it.

    I hope you don't mind if I'll use this same thread, since the original question has been answered. Anyways, I've been trying to find this hair in the main promo pic of http://www.daz3d.com/fantasy-features-for-genesis-3-female-s , but haven't really get anywhere. So any sightings of that one? Also the character looks familiar, but I have no idea where I've seen her. Any/all help is appreciated..

    I'm sorry if this is considered thread hijacking, but I run into the "which hair is this?" all the time and was hoping someone could shed some light on these:

    Hmmm...ok I reckon #5 is the Bluebell hair sold here:

    If you look at the very last promo there, it's almost identical. And the PA just added a flower to the bun. 

    Now, #1......the main promo. It REALLY puts me in mind of a hair by Mairy/3Dream over at rendo.......I cannot recall the name and it's an 'older' hair (I think it was for V4 or Genesis)...I'll look it up and see what it's called. 

    #3 and #6 look really familiar to me too.....hmmmm. #6 I thought at first Foxy Hair? http://www.daz3d.com/foxy-hair But the fringe and hair ends don't look quite right...although I KNOW I've seen it (and probably own it LOL)

    Wow, jakiblue! Thank you so much! I can hardly keep track of the Daz store offerings, I don't know how you manage several additional stores worth of content, especially when it's something like hair! ???? And I appreciate the heads up about the artist's FB page. I've had mixed success receiving responses to sitemail queries on Rendo.
