Three Stooges morphs?

Has anyone ever seen morphs for the Three Stooges characters? The figure type isn't that important, really. I could use just about any figure.

And before someone suggests it... No. I am not going to make them myself. I'm not interested in that type of modeling.

I've found a variety of M3 head morphs that include Harpo Marx, and I could be just as happy using the Marx Brothers, instead. As I said, I just think it could add a little humor to something I'm working on.

I wish. I have never seen any stooges morphs. Have you found hair cuts for Moe and Larry?

According to my father, I met Larry Fine once. I was too young to remember though. As the story goes, he was making a mall appearance and was surrounded by children who were all pulling on his hair. Classic!

No joke. I could see the galleries overwhelmed by the stooges.

How cool! Even if you don't remember it, it still counts!

Maybe the PAs are listening... Here's a product idea!

A user here who changed his handle every year (I think it was CD200x where x was the year) did some good ones for, I think, M4. But I can't find any reference to them, it was probably 2010 or so and on the old forum.  Don't know if he shared them.  I seem to recall that he yanked all his morphs from shareCG though.

Has to be Curly, though,  not Joe, or CurlyJoe,  though I'd accept a Shemp.

At least that's something to start with. I can check some of the older forums out there and see if anyone has heard of these morphs.

    Thanks!

At this point, I'll take what I can get. But yeah... Curly would be my preference, and a Shemp would be fine by me.

I think I might fuss around with G2M and see what I can come up with. The most difficult thing I can think of off of the top of my head would be getting the eye bags right on Moe. He must have never slept.

Although trying to get good photo references without any of them making a goofy face may be difficultlaugh

Nah... This is a task for someone with greater talent than I. I think his face shape is achieveable, but I cant get his eyes right at all.

I think we don't see many morphs of actual recognizable people because even famous people (especially famous people) own their personality/publicity rights. True, none of the original Stooges are still alive, but *someone* owns the rights to their publicity -- either their living family, a trust, or maybe a production company or studio. Common law trademarks such as this, in certain jurisdictions, last a very long time after the celebrity's death. California has a celebrities rights act that is retroactive of the celebrity's death, and extends 70 years. Since the Fine's and Howard's were California residents for a great deal of their lives, and certainly upon their deaths, their interests are still likely within the state. Their rights holders could sue.

I've seen some products skirt the issue by making a "look alike," such as a Marilyn Monroe, but the likeness is actually just passable, and often don't indicate who they are imitating.

The above is not, of course, legal advise.

There is a PA product by Oskarsson that does a decent job of passing for Buster Keaton.

Something similar might be done for Stooges, if not too close.  I would buy the Stooges for sure.  And Charlie Chaplin's character Little Tramp.

See video below for epic dance battle between Buster and Charlie

  • Tobor: I'm aware of the legal aspects. Nevertheless, there are so many look-alikes that I wondered if some had been done for The Three Stooges.

Exactly in which Stooges film did Marley appear? That sounds amusing, but I have to wonder...

...somewhere buried in my runtimes I have a set, not sure if they are for M4 or Genesis.

  • M4 would actually be my preference. If you can find them, I would be very grateful.

  • I've never seen Stooges morphs and I'd love them as a fan. Not surprised that there aren't any legally available, but it's odd that I've never seen a set created for noncommercial use only,

The bigger mystery is - which stooges would be included? Moe and Larry are must-haves. But would we have Curly, Curly Joe, or Shemp?

Well, what would be a great help would be morphs for the face that fattened the cheeks and under the jaw bone and the chin. Like George laugh I don't remember if he has separate morphs for face and body--I think maybe not.
