Just got this through testing and now waiting for release. I figured there were not enough casual shoes and plenty of high heels, so I have decided to expand the TreadZ line. These shoes incorporate the principles of utility and versatility that you have come to expect from the original TreadZ.
The collection comes with xtraining and running shoes in both left and right versions. This way you can load exactly what you want. Also included are sock uppers (not full socks) designed to work with these shoes.
The shoes were modeled with enough details to look good with just tiling textures. Included with each shoe are three lace options including one tied and two loose laces. The laces can be hidden to achieve the desired look. I have included 241 3Delight and 238 Iray Shaders that can be applied to any surface on the shoe! Plus, since most of them are tiling you could apply them to other surfaces as well.
Unlike the original TreadZ these shoes do not have the soles modeled in. I made high-res models of three different soles and then baked them into normal and displacement maps. This allows you to pick the type of sole that you want for more efficient rendering. If the shoes are far away, just removed the displacement maps with a simple preset!
There are also included a number of morphs to change the look and adjust the shoes. In addition, there are special morphs designed to make the shoes appear if they are laying on their side. Want objects for a messy room, you got them!

It is just for Genesis 3 Females. How big is the demand for male items?
Tiling textures -- swappable sole maps -- 241 3DL shaders -- I think I might have found my new go-to pair of shoes. Can't wait till they hit the store!

Won't buy it if is only for females. Most G3 female footwear doesn't fit well on the G3 male. So, yes count me in as someone who would like a male version of this :)

Well, I didn't realize the guys had become so popular! So I am going to make a male version. I have begun the conversion, which means I had to stop working on my next project. ;) I will have to rework some of the morphs, particularly the pose morphs, because they don't totaly survive the conversion. Plus will need to fix the weight maps and test everything, again. I don't know why I make things with so many files. Anyway, the Genesis 3 Female version is slated to be out 6/1. The Genesis 3 Male version will be a seperate version that will come out a little later.
In the meantime here are some tests renders that will probably make it to promos for your viewing pleasure.

This is a beautifully crafted item theedwizard! Does the main surface and upper have displacement/normal mapping or just a texture map?

I have noticed the male characters but when I tried in the past male stuff never sold very well. However, welling to give it another try. Sorry, for various reasons can't promise a G2M version.
Thanks! Normal maps are used on the uppers. The soles have both normals and displacements. You can remove the displacement maps from the soles if they are not needed. Here are a couple of WIP close renders so you can see the textures better.

Just wanted to thank you for going ahead with the production of these amazing athletic shoes for GM3. As promised I purchased them this morning the moment they were in the store.
I am also very impressed with the included realistic morphs that give your product so much more versitility. (There are quite a few good clothing items about for GM3 which sadly are lacking in even basic versatility morphs outside of the usual fitting morphs.)
I hope you get many sales, and will be encouraged by the fact that there are quite a few of us male content purchasers within the Daz community wanting quality products like this. So once again, very grateful that you heard and responded to our request.

I see that there are two collections now - one for G3F and the recently released for G3M. Does the G3 Cross-Figure Resource Kit work on any of these? I can afford only one of them.
Well, I bought the G3M version this morning! They look great and I'll be using them asap! I didn't get the G3F version as I have way more shoes for her than I will probably render since I mostly render the guys.
