FYI The Griffin War Bundle is showing in the Weapons & Warfare category but is not giving the extra discount. I have a feeling that it wasn't meant to be there since it is a bundle. Other products that I was interested in are discounting properly. :)
like I said he looks very kiwi- new zealand and the items like rugby is one of their main and our aussie sports and the tatts too on ken and alex. funny in another thread ethnic couple 7 was asked what couples we'd like to see next and maori/kiwi/new zealanders was one I asked for. Next up hoping for Brits like the actors from Red Dwarf - Lister, Cat, Kryton, Rimmer, Katchanski so on, and Carry On actors, models so on Brits have different features head shapes, skin tones that are more distinctive than others from other countries like US which think is basis for looks on most daz characters
Kimo looks good. This is actually the first bundle I've seen in some time where the male figure looks better than his female counterpart. Lets hope Ivan will be just as nicely done.

Wow, I was going to get only Kimo and two things from the bundle but because I bought Kalea and some other things, the pro bundle comes out to $5.00 more than the three items alone, plus I got a banner for an extra 20% off... I'm not into rugby and a lot of the stuff that comes with him, but I guess I can use it for something... :)
just a quick render of Kimo, just noticed in the rugby uniform there's no textures for the 'all blacks' - noone give me flack on saying that please that's the name of the national new zealand rugby team, love their Haka it's pretty intimidating

Like Pack58 said, Copyright stuff. In cases like this, you'd probably want to request a texture set over at a freebie site like ShareCG.
On the other hand someone could do a black rugby jersey with a silverfern and New Zealand written under it which is pretty close.
That wouldn't break trademark law in NZ but I have no idea about anywhere else.
The trouble would begin if "All Blacks" was used under the fern.
The NZRU even warned of the NZ government flag committee against using their copyrighted/trademarked silver fern logo. The fern symbol had to be redesigned for the proposed flags using it. Their problem was that they would lose the rights to it if it was used as the national flag, as it would become Crown copyright. In the end, of course, New Zealanders voted to keep the old one incorporating the British flag.

I'm holding off buying Kimo until the 26th. the hundreds of dollars of store credit I purchased this month, (at 20% off, of course,) has dwindled to a pittance, and I'm hoping against hope that Zev0's next product will be released while the Umbrella 20% off is still valid. (I think it's Fit Control for G3M. I also think I'm being overly optimistic...)
In the meantime, I'm loving these renders of Kimo. I agree with those who've suggested Kimo is even better than Kalea. She's beautiful, but Kimo is gorgeous! Thank you, DAZ!
Yeah he is gorgeous, I cannot afford him right now but he is at the VERY TOP of my wishlist so the my next purchase will definitely be him.
I think what makes him better than Kalea is that his facial features look more realistic to me than Kalea's, and realism is the number 1 thing I look for in the models : )
While I don't have a use for Kimo right now, the Kylan hair is a style I've been looking for ever since I started rendering. I'm rather disapointed that it doesn't count as a "Related Kimo item" despite being in his bundles - I was up for buying a bunch of the weapons and combat sale items.
Yeah, I gotta admit that Daz has been doing really well with a lot of the G3 stuff so far, especially since the last string of female releases haven't fallen into Victoria Sameface/Body Syndrome (not to mention we've gotten two non-white couples in a row. Let's make it 3 and have Monique and Darius next month, Daz!) and the males in particular are fantastic (that includes Guy 7, too). A shame I'm saving up for a convention later this year, otherwise, I'd totally splurge on the Pro Bundles for everything so far, haha.

I bought the pro bundle and obviously there is something completly wrong with Makani's Iray Shaders. He really doesn't look at all as in the promo images.

Both pictures rendered with the same lighting: Default environment lighting (Sun 10-mar-15 18:00:00). Default camera headlamp off.
Edited: I checked more in depth what is going on and the same scene with Makani's 3DL shaders gives the same render as with the 'IRay' Shaders thus I think it is a packaging problem. I'll contact support.
yeah actually I thought that too awhile after I posted some of the uniforms are close to some teams close but different enough yeah it's understandable and safer both for the creator and daz and guess really anyone who wants to do specific team colours all blacks, wallibies, storm extra probably not so hard to convert
true well at least I'm not really sports person it's just because lot of kiwi theme to it and I think they're cool and thinking others who maybe sports inclined but even though sports type renders may not be me unless do pinup style could use other sports stuff for that too there is another area could use the rugby theme and gridiorn that's what american football called right? anyway the other theme is fantasy football as in Warhammer Bloodbowl love the Warhammer and Warhammer 40,000 stuff in Bloodbowl the ball has spikes and the teams consist of humans, dwarfs, undead, elfs, orcs, rats, minotaur, lizardman and other races/creatures so well catered here to recreate that. Here's an idea for some how about a Star Wars themed version with Kimo you could recreate Jango Fett and some other Mandolorians if can recreate a basic version of the armour and have some not wearing helmets could use Sabine Wren's armour from Star Wars Rebels as referance for simpler version. And there are few characters here Star Wars related looking as well as ones would look like fit in to the theme look
those holding off using their bonuses hope you are lucky and what your waiting for comes out there is a lot due soon? zevo's got several things and urban sprawl 3 due too and probably several other big things and hopefully Kimo be included for awhile too with extra discvounting just remember some of these discounts are very time specific so keep an eye on the use by dates few sales I've ummed and arred too long over and missed out on great deals myself
I'm hoping to see more hair for Kimo. I really like the look of the hair included, although I do think Kylan hair is nice, I'd love shorter curly styles in the same vein. Jaybird hair is ok, but reminds me somewhat of adam hair.

Yes. I've waited too long more than a time or two myself. Discounts on Kimo from the two promos with Kalea end on the 31st, and the current 20% "umbrella" discount ends this Thursday, the 26th. DAZ midnight, of course.
I was hoping for Fit Control for G3M, but Bend Control is good, too.
Zev0 mentioned a possible discount on Bend Control (G3M) for anyone who already purchased Bend Control (G3F), so if you have it, waiting a few hours before checking out may save you the hassle of asking for a refund of the difference.
ETA: I went in search of Zev0's threads on Bend Control. Turns out what I remembered reading about was a discount on Glute Control (G3F) if you had purchased Bend Control (G3F)... so probably no extra discounts on Bend Control (G3M). Oh well, I'm getting it regardless... It's by Zev0 and it's for the guys! Woo hoo!
they wouldn't want to many big releases to get such high stacked discounts at the same time not that there is anything wrong or lack lustre in what is on offer now to get great stacked discounts think there's a lot of great stuff on offer of course that's just my opinion I'm sure there are a few that would disagree and think there's nothing at all appealing always seems to be I often see stuff offered I think is amazing and noone can think it's hohum but there's always some

Not that this has anything to do with the product. But where can i find out where sales will end i have things in my wishlist and i like to buy them before the sales on stuff end but don't know where to look?
If you're like me, it won't last a month! I added up all the things I've bought just in May, including two GCs for store credit, and just about fainted. And I wasn't counting the things I used the store credit to buy! I'm seriously thinking about staying away from DAZ for a while, only checking for the PC+ freebie(s) every week. I really can't afford to keep spending so much money every month. Especially if I'm going to get a new computer with an Nvidia graphics card! lol
