Car Mark iRay

OK, what IS this product: http://www.daz3d.com/car-mark-iray

Does this actually include the car or what.  There is very little info... seems to be a texture / shader set but if so there is no reference or link to the car... this is a very confusing product page.

    There was a post about this in a thread in Members forum (not sure which) - the answer was that it is a NEW version of the Car Mark model and Iray textures for it, so no need to own the original Car Mark (and in fact that the Iray textures "may not work" on the original since the modelling is a bit different)

    But on the page itself it also says (twice)..

    This is the stand-alone Iray version

    and

    Please note that this does not require Car Mark and is a stand-alone product, These textures may or may not work on the original car mark.

    So apologies if it's confusing, but not sure how to make it any clearer what it is :)

    I think what makes it confusing Jack is that usually there is a shot of the model untextured.  All I see are examples of the texture / shaders ... no details about the car itself.  *wink*

    Yeah, an untexture shot would have cleared that up right away.  Also, the "Iray" tag has been used for stricly texture packs.  So the two places customers pay the most attention to both suggested it was a texture pack. And these are PC+ items -- a lot of them end up in my cart without reading a lot of the details.

    In an ideal world it would have been a straight up 'addon'.. but the artist wanted to change some items on the original so it was the only way we could really do it.

    The next one, actually is an addon rather than standalone.. so hopefully we can that across too.
