So here we go again!
Tried to take advantage of the Fantasy-SciFi smorgorsbord, and the nice included offer of
BUY 2 Fantasy new releases
together with 2 Sci-Fi New Releases
GET $30 worth of Free Daz Originals + featured artist catalogs - 50% off**
So I put Science Fiction Restraints and Simple Short Haircut in the cart and then I put Sickleyield's Rigged Water into the cart. That one was supposed to come 50% off. Bummer, didn't happen!
Couple of days ago it was the "Cash In with Kalea!" and then the "So Many Diverse Flavors of Beautiful" offer which suffered from the same problem, now it's this one. I save my money but it's sad for the creators of beautiful things who lose income over this.

Please note the terms clearly state "BUY 2 Fantasy new releases together with 2 Sci-Fi New Releases" You're only showing you put in two items from the sci-fi side.
Here is my cart with 2 items from fantasy, two from sci-fi and one item from SickleYield's store and as you can see, that last item is, indeed, showing the 50%.

No matter what, it still isn't working correctly for Daz Originals, that are listed explicitely on the featured artists catalogs for 40/50% off too. Yes, the $10/30 off work correctly, but neither does it work with 40/50% discounted prices, nor does it give the 40/50% on additional DO items at all after the fixed discount has been substracted.
It did not work yesterday also, but I got so tired of having to deal with sales here that do not work each and every day that I didn't really care reporting anymore and deleted the stuff from my cart, which meant not buying anything from that $35 (new releases after discount) cart. Again. And again. And again...
Can you recall, or reconstruct, which items you had in your cart?
Honestly that offer was a little too convoluted for me whether it worked or not. I've never been one for the "Pick X many from each category" ones, but this one was particularly uninteresting due to the required number of items (at least 4) from a limited selection with unknown stacking. Just my 2 cents, I don't pass on many sales. I did on this one.

From Fantasy New Releases it was Magic Effects Brushes II and Small Whimsical Pool, from Sci-Fi New Releases it was Simple Short Haircut and Science Fiction Restraints Iray. As said, those triggered the $30 correctly, so these items qualify.
For older DO items I had some stuff I still had on my wishlist like Geneva Hair, Eternal Outfit Textures, Leather Warrior Outfit Textures, Cyber Soldier Warfare Textures and Toon Weapons Set. Again, as stated before the $30 discount works on them, but none was discounted with the 50% featured artist catalog discount - neither those where $30 applied (might be intentional, though not really correct then), nor did the additional price to be paid reflect the 50% discount. Looks like DO are just not in the featured artists though being announced on sales page. And yeah, I did the math to see if it was discounted partially or something, as the $30 is split on all DO, but nope.. just using the regular prices there.
What I noticed about this sale is the $30.00 seems to come off DO stuff before the 50% discount for 2 SciFi 2 Fantasy is applied.
Is that how it's supposed to work?
I'm not seeing any 50% off DOs unless they are DOs that also happen to have been made by the featured artists. The $30 discount is applying, split across DO's in the cart.
The banner says 50% off featured artists' catalogues.
I suspect the Daz Originals are only listed with the featured artists so that you can more easily choose your $30 worth.
The very few DO's that are also featured artist items receive the 50% off and the $30 discount.
That makes sense. Confusing layout.
Edit: Except there are two DO items in the new releases list that trigger the Smorgasbord discounts so I would expect DO to count as a featured artist ???

All I know is I didn't have any trouble. My four DOs ended up costing me 44¢, (which was about a dollar less than I was expecting,) and I got the Mega-Egytpian bundle for under $21.
I realize now that my problem was language related this time. I misinterpreted the offer + I was used to the need of two different products, because that's what it usually is - like today for instance. In any case that makes me want to point out again the need for simpler, more straightforward sales with less strings attached.
Actually, the sales always have a no strings attached which is the set discount for the first two weeks of release. That has no strings whatsoever. However, if people want to participate in further discounts, those have conditions. So all you need to do is ignore everything but the initial sale discount. You're still getting a good discount. :)
Daz Originals was not measnt to be listed as a Featured Artist - the entry was there to make it easier to find items to use the dollar-discounts on. The tile has now been removed to avoid future confusion.

I'm having an issue wherein I'm looking at Kalea 7 Pro; I am a PC+ member, although I'm not sure that matters. The banner across the top of the page says, "Escape with Kalea 7; Up to 51% OFF the new Daz Tropical Beauty and up to 44% OFF related items." The thing is, when I go to click on the Kalea 7 bundle- any of the bundles- it is not placing the discount. It will give me the 30% discount if I click on one of the Island Related New releases, but, curiously, my admittedly limited understanding of math and numbers tells me that 51%=/=30%.
If you look at the attachments, I've take screenshots of the ad, the bundle page, and my shopping cart; please note that I am logged in on all screenshots and the date is clearly displayed.
Since I don't render fantasy that sale was a wash for me. I did buy plenty of sci-fi but being forced to buy fantasy items to trigger a discount didn't work for me
At the moment the 30% DO discount doesn't seem to be applying to the Kalea 7 Bundle and also you were (20 hours) too late for the 30% opening New Item discount so there is no way to get the 51/44% off only the extra 30/20 for an Island Related with Kalea. But you should get the PC discount, that's a glitch.
Gee. It sure would've been nice if there were somewhere on the banner or the ad that indicated that it was no longer valid, wouldn't it have been? Y'know, as a way to let people know that the ad is a freaking lie at this point?
Well the sale is still running so I guess that's why it's still up but yes, I think someone should have changed the maximum discounts text to avoid confusion.
That said, I wouldn't be surprised if one person is responsible for all Ad copy and several other tasks as well. This is DAZ not Adobe.
Edit for above: And now the 30% opening New Item discount is applying again along with the PC discount so it looks like that was a glitch as well. You have screenshots so submit a ticket to Customer Support and see what they say. In my experience with them (limited because not much has gone wrong) they have been pretty good sorting stuff like that out.
