Please, are there available poses for Stonemason and Dzfire robots?

edited May 2016 in The Commons

Hello, I have bought some of the awesome and amazing robots from Stonemason and Dzfire,( like for example the Prototype from Stonemason and Cybermech 4.1 by Dzfire, ) but now I wonder if there are any additional poses I could buy that may be compatible with these robots?

could be possible to use some kind of poses from other figures?

There are lots of possible poses available on daz store but all I have seen and found are for human figures not for robots, unless they may be compatible in some way, or if the poses could be converted

Thanks very much for any help

i have no clue about Stonemason's humanoid robots (I love Prototype, but it always manages to go on sale when I am broke), but Dzfire's have, so far, used Michael 4 or Vicoria 4 rigging and are perfectly compatible with their pose sets. Actually, a lot of humanoid figures tend to be--with G3's egregious exception. For the non-humanoid things, I think we are out of luck in the 1-click-solution department.

  • Thanks very much Uthgard for your help

You are right that I have seen that Dzfire have put in one of the descriptions of one of the robots that it can use Michael 4 clothes and poses, but this is nót appearing on the description of the Cybermech4.1, so I thought that it may be different, but if you that probably he has used the Michael 4 rigging for most of the robots, maybe this also works, will have to try it

I have sent a PM to Stonemason to ask him directly, and I will send another to Dzfire also

Only the Cyborg Model 4 can accept poses from M4 (and even then, some break the model). CyberMech 4.1 is a stand alone and does not use M4 (or other figure) rigging. The same goes for Stonemason's mechs. You might search on ShareCG for someone who is sharing poses. I own most from both PAs and have found that you will, typically, have to pose your own.

DzFire's CyberMech4 and Stonemason's Prototype, posed using Muscleman's It's Dance poses for M4 and V4 (!), obviously with some minor adjustments since Prototype is not quite a 'petite' as Victoria is.

You may not be able to make them sing, but you certainly can make them dance : )

    Cheers!

wow! Thanks very much for all the comments and help, and specially to erilk leeman that have shown brilliantly that this is possible as shown on the fantástic render in the post here above and for timmins williams too for the funny pink robot

will then try myself and see what I can do and do some tests

Well, I have tried some michael 3 and michael 4 poses and it seems that it works, although it depends of what pose, as some specific ones  break the figure, although after trying 10, only 2 give problem

i have just seen that Muscleman's It's Dance poses for M4 and V4 is today on sale for 60% discount!! So I will buy it

thanks very much again Erik Leeman for showing the poses of these and that it works very well
