So it's a British drunken square-dance. I was right! It IS British!! haha
Can I have that 2:14 back please?
Looby Loo was a rag doll on 1950s UK kid's TV (Andy Pandy). She even has her own song . . .
Here we go Looby Loo
Here we go Looby light
Here we go Looby Loo
All on a Saturday night
She's probably doing time, or in rehab by now!
Looby, def: a small vestibule with two self-closing doors preceding the entrance to a restroom to ensure privacy for patrons.

Dang it...you beat me to it...
It's a relief to know that I'm in good company though.
I loved Andy Pandy. They played that here on PBS when my kids were of that age! I think I loved it more than my three boys, though!
I did not know there was name for that area! We have them in some of the finer restaurants here in the States. Not that I get to visit those very often, but I've been in a few. Oh, and I, also, remember singing that song as a kid, too. So, it had even made its way over to this side of the pond once upon a time.
That's a British thing?? I remember learing that silly song when I was a kid and I'm American. O_o
That isn't a real definition; just to clarify
Ah, but it sounded great! And, I doubt very many people would question it! And, just to clarify, I'm sure there is a name of for that area, but I like 'looby' just fine!
Just out of curiosity, I looked this up. I honestly did not expect to get a valid definition!
looby: def: an awkard clumsy fellow
I think I like Etrigan's definition better!
