MortemVetus M4 Products-Poser Only?

Just wondering if anyone has any info before I buy and potentially miss something.

I'm looking at several M4 products in the Manly May 85% off category when you buy one Manly May product in the same cart.http://www.daz3d.com/featured-michael-4-characters

The prices are fantastic and I love the look. Thane. Rolf. The Slinger, Maxwell, etc. The thing is, some list Daz Studio 4.9 and Poser as compatible software, some only list Poser. But all of them seem to be PZ2 files with Poser core installers. (Except Rolf. I think he is a CR2 with PZ2 materials-whatever that means)

I'm just wondering if these are just messed up descriptions or if I can only use them if they specifically list Daz Studio. (I don't own Poser).

    Yes they work great a little tweaking may be needed but not much.

    I've got three of the ones you mention and several others. I got them to use the textures on Genesis so haven't used them with M4 but I can try now if no one comes back to you. The textures are great with a bit of playing around in Surface Tab (3DL but the same would apply for iRay).

     

    Edit: Slow typing again. scorpio already answered so I won't check M4 :-)

    2nd Edit: Some of the MortemVetus M4 Products DON'T work in D|S, the only one I'm aware of is http://www.daz3d.com/facial-a-hairness put if you end up with something you can't use you've got 30 days to return it.

    I am pretty sure all their M4 products work fine in DS except those that use Poser dynamic hair, and there is only 1 or 2 of those. All the ones I tested work fine, and the morphs converted easily to G2M using Gen X.

    I haven't had any problems with their characters in DS. Like the others said, there is some surface optimizations needed, etc, etc.

    I think those skins look awesome in Studio. You couldn't want a better skin for an older/craggy/wartorn individual than some of MortemVEtus skins.
