Since I am already a Platinum Club+ member, if I decide to take advantage of the current 35%-off offer, will that extend my current PC+ membership beyond its current expiration date, and add another year to it?

    Yes, it will add to the current membership. That's why mine expires is November 2017 now...

    It worked! I am now good through (nearly) the end of 2017!
