Need more manly hand textures

Anyone else notice how perfectly manicured everyone looks in 3D land? The guys especially look like they've never lifted a finger in their 3D lifetimes, yet they're all super buff. Since I'm rendering characters who work with their hands (blue collar workers, especially carpenters, mechanics and other tradesman), that really annoys me. Their hands don't look like the perfect ones in DAZ. Soldiers and fantasy warriors wouldn't have pretty, girly hands either. They need manly ones!
I'd love to have some optional rougher textures that could be added. Just like there's are "pretty hands" and "pretty feet" products, why not some "guy" ones? If there's something out there already, please point me in the right direction! So far, the only textures I've seen like that I believe were on monsters and the Mortum Vetus characters.
Thanks!

Chipped nails, grease in the lines/cracks, rougher skin/calluses, even a few skinned knuckles...general grunge...that kind of stuff?
I've always thought that the "manicured look" was one of the main problems in achieving realistic renders. There are a few grime and grunge packages here at Daz (and elsewhere), so it's worth looking around to see if there is something outt here that can suit your needs.
I also think there are some great M4 textures by RuntimeDNA that are worth looking at (check out their pirate stuff). Maybe you could adapt some of those to your needs?
Yes, exactly! I'll look at the L.I.E grunge and wound packages and see if any of that will work.
mmitchell- I have some of Mortum Vetus' stuff (including pirates) and those might work. They have so much detail in them but haven't had a chance to play with them much yet.
Just need some manly hands! LOL
The Mortem Vetus stuff is very good indeed. May need tweaking for getting properly lit in Studio. That's one good thing about a figure that's been around for as long as M4 and V4 have. The people who were still supporting those figures generally adopted the higher resolution textures of more recent tech, so they take to the Genesis series very well. (Especially now that we have the UV geografts to make them usable on G3.)
LMAO, yeah you see those weather beaten gruff masculine guys with Palmolive hands. My hands have poison ivy blisters on them now and it's not nice or pretty.
I tend to prefer hands without too much extra on them. I Can always grunge them up later post work, but hard to take baked on textures and extras off.
