Hi everyone...
I saw beautiful skin on genesis 3 and V7 i am still on older version. I cant do the newer version i will have too much time to relearn it took me many years to understand Daz as i had no clue with 3D before. I am happy with my reality renders although envy the iray.
Somebody please help me, what do i have to install and buy so that i can use genesis 3 and V7 skin on my genesis 2 base in Daz 4.6.
thanks for your help.

There is no way to use G3 skin on G2 out of the box, i.e. Not Iray skins, that do not work in 4.6 at all.
Thanks for the reply, what about Daz 4.7?
Iray was introduced in DS 4.8. However, there should be no great learning curve in moving from 4.6 to 4.9 (the current version), I don't think exisitign features have been removed (backdrops have changed, and the Render Settings have becoem a standard pane).
Even for 3Delight settings there's no way to use G3 skins on G2.
I use G3F/M in D|S 4.6 and 4.7 with no problem (3DL not iRay).
Do you particularly want to use G2F?
Yes, but the OP wants to use G3 Skins on G2 characters, which doesn't work (unless someone Comes up with another Geograft solution)
Yep but from the OP I couldn't tell if Onie knew that gen 7 worked fine in pre 4.8 or not and thought I would check just to be sure :-)
Yes, Genesis 3 Starter Essentials should be in the account of the OP...if not just 'purchase' 4.9 and don't install it, yet, just use the Start Essentials...that way Genesis 3 skins can be used on Genesis 3.
But that said, I suspect, though that a lot of the 'look' of the G3F skin, is due to the renderer/settings that are NOT available in 4.6. Without knowing the skin and what look was wanted, it's hard to say if it could be worth using in earlier versions.
And there is a way of doing it...the reverse of this

With the 'baking' pair set up you could go either direction with a skin...but it will take a bit more work setting up the 'reverse' direction, as there isn't a 'native' G3F morph for G2F, so you'll need an add-on
