All of this cool rdna stuff is making me nostalgic for the older characters. Anyone know who the character is in this promo art? http://www.daz3d.com/cool-fever-for-a3

Aiko 3 is a generation 3 character along with Michael 3 and Victoria 3,  designed to be an anime character.  Very popular in the day.  There is still content in the store for her.

You can still buy her http://www.daz3d.com/aiko-3-0-base and she's in in certain bundles, like this one: http://www.daz3d.com/anime-bundle

Still is popular, many sites still make new stuff for Aiko3 and I see a lot of Japanese sites make stuff still, too.   Aiko3 and Hiro3 are the 2 humanoid figures I use more than anything else. :D

I thought the question was "Which Aiko 3 character is this?" To which I do not know the answer - the style isn't quite right for Lobo75, though ti could be.

I do, too.  I think she may have been my very first purchase at this store.  She had one feature I really wish had been included with or at least offered for Aiko 3, a morph that smoothed the teeth into a continuous, featureless "band" giving her a bit more of a cartoon/comic/anime/manga appearance.  Of of course, the teeth of "generation 1 and 2" figures were single "arches" of geometry, just sculpted with crevices and peaks to look like a row of teeth.  Smmothing out that arch was comparatively easy.  The teeth of the generation 3 figures and onwards were sculpted individually.  Smmothing those into a "seamless" band was, no doubt, a lot truickier.  Which likely explains why no one ever tried.

    Sincerely,

    Bill

  • I think the character is 'Kirei na Kanjou for Aiko 3.0' but it seems she is no longer available.

That's what I would have said too. She's always been one of my favorites for A3 :)

Lol, sorry for the confusion. I did word the title a bit awkwardly. What I meant was, "who is this character for a3". laugh

Thats unfortunate. Was she a DAZ character?

By the way: Load A3 and turn the Realistic morph to 100% - you get a lot of the facial structure of Kirei ...
