Weren't the people who bought the pro bundle for Mei Lin supposed to get an extra discount on Lee 7?

Only if you buy the Lee 7 Pro bundle. Starter and plain figure don't trigger the discount.

Nothing is showing up in the exclusive offers that's the first place I looked. I will put it in the cart anyway and see if it triggers the discount. I bought the pro bundle for mei lin with the intention of getting the discount on Lee 7 lol.
The discount will only work on the Lee 7 Pro bundle....
At that price, I'm not sure I want him that badly. My internal price point (what I'm willing to pay) is lower than that. Even though I think I can use him and I get the 25% discount, I don't think I'll be picking him up today. Not even with the incentive of an extra 30% off the new PC+ stuff from RDNA. I have it all in my cart and thinking of just hitting the clear button.
BTW, I didn't have any kind of message. Lee 7 just automatically reduced down to that price when I put him in the cart.
he is more expensive than the previous pro bundles when they first came out with their bonus discounts think they were around $36 and some got some of them even cheaper
It does reduce in cart. I got him this time around even at the slightly higher price point mostly because he is one of the very few characters that I really like for G3M. I haven't spent hardly anything on any of the other characters so I have saved far more than the extra bit extra I paid for this bundle. So I am mostly happy. There wasn't really a whole lot to choose from as far as the 50% off went so I just picked up two plushies and skipped the rest and since I ended up spending far less because I didn't pick up anything extra I figure I came out ahead lol.
The good deals, like Mei Lin (under $30 the way everything worked out in the sale for me) create expectations that end up working against DAZ. A package like Lee comes along and you think "I just paid less, for a better package. This one will go on sale soon enough, I'll get it then." And then, the sale comes along but something else distracts you, or you think "I've gotten along the last three months just fine without Lee" and that's all for the poor guy.
I guess many assumed that Lee would be part of MM sales and iirc Mei Lin Pro was available for around $35-38 after discounts Lee Pro couldn't have crossed the $30 mark with the additional 25% discount.
