he is very impressive I'll grab him too, well I bought Mei Lin 7 Pro Bundle so I'm meant to get an extra discount on Lee 7 Pro just waiting till everything is settled before check out as there always seems to be problems with prices and discounts when these first go up
oh and I like how the new Mei Lin and Lee don't look like just new updated versions of their g2 versions both have a completely different distinctive look and like Mei I think I'll invest in Lee's HD morph when it comes out too, haven't invest in many of the hd morphs but think be worth it here

Lee 7 reminds me of some Korean actor, for some reasons only my brain knows...
But the characters for him are really great! I like them, and this is about the first time I am really enticed to buy a G3 base character. Well done, everyone!

I think the store may bde hiccuping again. The product page claims that the Pro bundle is $66-something, but put it in the cart and it's suddenly $134 discounted to $96-something. With the Mei Lin discount it's $49 and change.
I think I'll wait until later this morning for it to settle before doing anything about it.
Yes this one is great. But the the Main Promo Pic is very badly choosen, I almost skipped him because I'm not interested in such extrem Characters and then discovered what a great character is hidden inside.
Maybe a Pic showing him with and without makup would have been better!
I think the tattoos look amazing (one of the few times I've thought that) and are what made me interested in him. Any character with a special "extreme/fantasy" skin almost always has a regular skin in my experience and it's easy to check if that's the case via the other promos - but not every character has something unique that stands out so much. I like it the way it is.

I don't think I'll get Lee yet - $22US is $28 AU and I don't have my pc coupon. I'm gonna have to wait on him
However, Jurou comes in at about $19 AU and I"d rather get him now, just to use the skin, until I can afford Lee 7. Greater chance of Lee 7 going on sale at some stage over the next few months than a PA item :)

If you want to render Jurou in Iray for DS 4.8, you need to change the SSS Reflectance Tint to 0.63, 0.9, 1.0 - otherwise, he will look like lobster man. He has no Legacy textures.
Agreed—for me Saiyaness's skin textures just work. It's rare that I don't feel like I have to tweak something in the shaders but her stuff is great right out of the tin—they are a real joy to render, plus there is always something a little bit different about them.
I am really not into many male figures as I don't render males often, but I have to say, amazing promos!!! Looks like a really high quality product and kudos for using genesis 3 base UVs which pushed him in the cart ASAP since I have no plans to get Lee 7.

@Nosiferret: That necklace is from AeonSoul's Ony Tribal that WAS at RDNA, before they pulled everything. I hope their stuff makes a reappearance here. @_@
@ Everyone who uses DS4.8: Yup, that pesky reflectance tint will make carrot people. :3 Change it to light blue and he should be fine. Otherwise, tinker with that setting or the Translucency Colour until you get the tone you want.
One thing to note with Jurou and my last character, Priya, is that I made very dramatic specular maps for their skin. I love that sharp contrast on tanned skin but it can look a bit extreme in some lighting. Skin settings can always be tweaked if you find they're a bit strong. :) (That includes bump maps)
Another thing with lighting is that I'm not that creative with it! I usually just use a DimensionTheory HDR and two mesh lights for the rim light and key light/specular-enhancer :p Just in case someone asks.
