Promotion suggestion for DAZ

I was just thinking.... yes, I do that sometimes..........

Here is a great promotion idea for DAZ..............

On your birthdaym let's have DAZ gift a coupon of perhaps $10 to that person...... ok, maybe not everyone...... to the PC members then..........

It will come back to DAZ anyway, and you know the birthday person is more than likely to buy something that will cost more than $10, perhaps multiple items.......

No thanks necessary, DAZ folks............... just doing my best to contribute to intercultural understanding and harmony..... :)

With my birthday coming in 2 weeks, I fully support the idea! laugh

  • The problem is, not everyone is comfortable with giving a total stranger (or or a business) personal information, and in some countries it would probably be against some obscure regulation that hardly anyone knows about.

It could be a false or actual birthday. Either way, it will only come once a year; so, no real difference.

Well, they could proclaim a "DAZ Founding Day" celebrating the day DAZ opened business (DAZ' Birthday, so to speak), where you get that $10 Coupon, to use when you purchase more than 30$ at the ame time... or something like that. ,-)

Given that many other sites have no problem asking for birthdays I can't see why it'd be against any laws as long as the information were kept in the private account details and not publicly posted. Could also omit the year if that's a concern. The month and day are all that'd be needed for a birthday setup, and other than a certain exception that I am most familiar with because it's my own birthday, any given day will be the birthday for several customers.

..... uh..... I think it is better to drop the $30 thing........ as I have already turned over my house, bank account, car, dog...... and my remaining arm to DAZ...............

The Queen of England has an official birthday as well as her actual one. Maybe Daz customers should have one as well.

I think it's a wonderful idea, even if my birthday is in February and I wouldn't see the coupon for nearly a year...

Actually a lot of sites REQUIRE some sort of age verification...

Would that be a birthday that only happens every 4 years? If so I know a set of triplets that share a birthday with you, and one of them is a Daz Studio user. She's actually the one who got me into 3D art way back when they had the deal where you could get Bryce 7 pro, Hexagon and DS for free :)

Daz 3D did,  on the Old  old site.  I can remember some people who didn't fill in the required field and found themselves not able to view flagged content on the forums or in the gallery.

I thought I got some sort of special coupon code as a "thanks" on my last birthday... but it could have just been a coincidence.

Content Paradise does it...gives you a coupon on your birthday (I think it's like $2 or something close).

    It's $5 (at least those I've got).

    OK.... :)

    I'll go first.

August 14...... DAZ, can you have my surprise ready by that time.... please.... no, I don't want cake.....

Well, considering I donated maybe $10 grant to the DAZ retirement and party fund over the past few years, is that too much to ask?

And it will generate sales... no need to thank me, honest.
