1 item for 40% OFF • 2 items for 50% OFF • 3+ items for 55% OFF?
The title of this thread is located right under "45% OFF featured Artist catalogs below" on todays sale page. Does anyone have an idea of whether or not it's supposed to be there? I have a new release in my cart along with 4 items from the Artist Catalogs listed but those four items are still showing up as 45% off and not 55% off. I figured I would ask before I hit the purchase button because my luck's history would be hitting the purchase button now and in about 5 or 10 minutes after, the price would drop haha.

I don't know how this works either. I have 3 items from the new release all showing up at 30% and 3 item from the Artist catalog 1 showing at full price and the other 2 are at 30%
The one that's showing full price, is it labeled as "New" by any chance? I know if it's a new item in an artist catalog it doesn't count toward any discount. The other 2 at 30% is a bit odd to unless they are also labeled as "New" but still have the introductory discount applied.
Confirmed. One qualifying new item and three older items from featured artists' catalogues in the cart = 45% off older items. Not 55%.
I speculate a copy'n'paste error in the promotion text rather than an error in pricing. The rest of the promotional guff is pretty clear: 45%.
Yep that's the problem. Although they are from the Artist catalog, they are labeled new so I guess no discount then?
Yeah that's what I was kind of thinking also. I just figured I would try to find out for sure before buying because I've been burned by glitches before. 2 minutes after purchasing something then glitch is gone and now stuff is cheaper kind of thing lol. Might just go ahead and hit purchase anyway here in a bit.
Yeah anything with that green ribbon at the top right of the main promo image that says new won't get discounted any more than it already is unfortunately.

Sweet! Thank you Richard! Items are now showing up at 55% off. So it wasn't just something that wasn't supposed to be there. Glad I waited a little longer lol.
FYI, the discount doesn't work for PC+ items. Most DAZ sales do not work for PC+ items anyway, but it's not stated for this promo.
I think (speculate) that it was (something that wasn't supposed to be), and they've changed the sale to match the error. But either way, it's a nice outcome (let's hope people who bought at 45% can get some credit). That's the nice thing about pessimism - when you're proved wrong, it's by good news.
I wanted First Bastion's Divided Highway, but when I put it in my cart with a new release, it isn't discounted, so not sure what's going on...
Divided Highway is still "New", so excluded from this sale.
There will be another sale...
Now I'm confused. I thought they changed the sale to match the error, which in my case was leaving off the usual "new items" exclusion in the sale details. Oh, well. As you say, it will be on sale another day, and I'm semi-patient. ;)
Basically, here's what happened:
The sale was supposed to be "Buy a new item from today and save 45% off of the PA stores, excluding new rleases and PC+ items"
Although that was there, someone made a mistake, and had a line below it that said "1 for 40% off, 2 for 5o% off, 3 for 55% off".
Once the rror was found the incorrect text was removed. But, as soon as I was aware of it, I had the sale changed to :buy any new release from today, and save 45% off of 1, 50% off of 2, 55% off of three from the PA stores (excl new rel and PC+).
This is sort of the best of both sales, and rewards customers for our mistake.
Also, you are correct. anyone who missed out on that discount can fiule a ticket and we'll make it right.
Oh, and hopefully not mess up next time :)
Thanks for clarifying. Still, I must be blind. I looked and looked for the new items exclusion and didn't see it.
Thank you for clearing up the part of what was supposed to be Steve. I swear, when I started this thread it was not my intention to change what was supposed to be lol. I was just looking for the answer of what was supposed to be before making the purchase in order to save the trouble of submitting a ticket for something. I would've been perfectly fine doing the 45%, I just wanted to make sure. In any case thank you for doing the what was not supposed to be in the end. Of course just a couple minutes after I made the purchase I get a 20% off everything code LOL. Can't win for losing I guess haha. Oh well it'll help me get some other things. Thanks again Steve.
