Poser support
...+1 to both.
...Skin Builder Pro and an LIE Skin Overlay tool (with imperfections like freckles & such) for G3.
With a bit of creative morph work, it's possible to make quite a variety of preteens. I've done it working down from Girl 7, up from the Little Ones, and a half-dozen other ways, with and without the Youth morph from Growing Up.
Appropriate clothing is a bit more of a challenge. Autofitting from earlier Genesises helps.
You can always morph them with these addons, yes. The point of asking for official figures isn't so much needing the figure itself but that it allows all the related content to grow and be released around it.
Absolutely.
Yes, yes, yes. It is like Genesis 3 is stuck in high school, where the girls are developed but the boys are, well, boys. Michael 7 is a great morph, but it seems even ironman13 has a hard time keeping his poses from looking like a bad M4. Leo 7? Really? Gianni 7? Head morph redeemed by Ragnar. Hopefully Lee 7 has photoreal textures instead of what we got with Leo. Oh, right, but this thread is about what's missing with G3F. G3F is missing a comparable male companion.
What's your beef with Gianni's textures?
Pardon me. I have no beef with Gianni's textures. In fact, I think Gianni's skin is great. (The eyes suck, but that's true of most G3s.) My issue with Gianni is his face morph. But I see that I should have proofread my post, since it certainly appears that I was denigrating his textures.
I'm not clear on why people want 200 head morphs - well, I guess that depends on whether we are talking morphs or shapes. The more morphs the better - then I can create my own shapes as I please. But I don't buy pre-made face shapes nor do I buy characters for their shapes (I buy them if the skin looks apppealing). A big part of my enjoyment of this hobby is creating my own characters from base shapes using the morph dials. That's why Zev0's products are such a help - being able (at least on G2F) to dial the age up or down is wonderful. I wish there were realistic skins for all ages though. Again, I use Cailin for almost every G3 female but I like to include older ladies and the options are very limited with G3F.
EDIT: oh, sticking with the theme of the OP ... what G3F also needs are realistic nipples. The present ones look like they were created using origami, not pro-level 3D modelling.
200 head morphs is a specific package.
Cailin's texture is lovely but it's really only useful for pale redhead youngish females.
The 200 morph packages are morphs, not character presets, so it does give you even more options for shaping a face. I also have little interest in presets or poses (although I do buy expression packs, which I guess are just face poses).
I hate how it's so hard to tell which expression packs are presets and which actually add dials (interested in the latter, not so much the former.)
You can never have too many fantasy ball gowns.
Cheers,
Alex.
I for one love Gianni even more than Michael 7. His facial morph is pretty realistic and actually reminds me of someone I know.
Leo just did not impress me at all, that's why he's still on my wishlist and The guy is well, the guy.
Kinda curious about Lee 7. I wasn't a big fan of Lee 6 so I hope this time around, I'm gonna like him.
I like the look of Gianni and the Guy (both kinda suffer in their official promos though) but money meant they have to wait. I liked the look of Leo initially but only coming with 1x skin texture is questionable, and 1x eye colour inexcusable. Yeah I could use other characters' eyes or make my own but I'm not paying to support that even if I do like the shape and HD versions.
More often than not, I find myself not liking many of the included textures anyway : D For example Eva, seriously nobody has eyes that are THAT green. I think characters that are advertised as real world should have real world looking eyes : D
World faces, like Mongolian Beauty - HD Faces and Morphs. Ideally, you could recreate all of the G2F ethnic DNA dial packs, but especially the Mongolian one, it's amazing. Perfect for modelling pretty Eastern European women, too, just the tiniest nudge there gets it so right. I liked the G2F Euro pack as well, they were all instantly recognizable.
And... handbags. How can you have a thousand women and only, like, one handbag?
And more fae girls. And goth girls. Yeah, there's tons, but it's just not enough. You don't understand, it's never enough.
This a tricky one; it's been done, but not officially using DSON Importer, plus I'm sure you want Poser materials as well. The reason it's tricky is that many new vendors simply do not have the interest in learning two or three tools to create content, and with the recent addition of Iray to DAZ Studio, there is even less incentive to spend the money to buy a product they have no interest in learning to use.
...like my character Leela, however 18$ is a bit much for a single skin.
...I find Zev0's Growing Up morphs work very well.
"Appropriate" clothing? I agree.
Bikini Mail allows the wearer to add their charisma bonus to their AC.
The effect is +1 if they're also weilding a broadsword.
Girls can wear boy's armour with the figure swap morph slider thingie. Pretty good for equiping armour sets with flat heels, too. Then again if they do that they lose the Gender Feat: Never Flat Footed, pretty much a game breaking bonus, but really useful for rouges.
