This is why I love DAZ Genesis

If you're an "old-timer" like me, you might remember my Marlin Fingle characters. I've never done a lot with them, but it's fun to bring them out every once and awhile. One of my characters, Rick Klick more closely resembles me. He's a large guy & has the hair, beard, glasses etc. The first version of Rick was based on Michael 3. His large body never looked quite right. The new Rick, based on Genesis looks much better. 

If anyone is interested, I could share more of my characters. I just don't want to overwhelm anyone.

    Like how you aged him a bit. I think most people would have been happy to live in the past and skip the gray. Maybe pretend they had a bottle of that Grecian for men stuff.

    Thanks, Khory. I'd struggled with this issue for years. I don't mind my own gray or white hair, or my wrinkles. It's been difficult to find gray or white hair for my DAZ Characters. That's why I jumped on the combination you see there. His hair is all white, and he has more hair than me! The hair on top of my head is thinning, but there is no white. My beard has lots of white///1

    LOL, you're jumping the gun there, it's still very good. I have seen younger people with snow white hair and it's gorgeous.

    nonesuch00 & Ice Dragon Art, thanks for the kind words. I think I'll start putting stuff in my gallery over the weekend. I don't want to overwhelm the regular forums.

    Here's a picture of Marlin Fingle, from 2005, and the new version in 2015. Marlin was originally based on Michael 1. The new Marlin is based on David 5.

    I fiddled a bit more with my Marlin Fingle cast and the Moonshine's Diner. I decided it's best to stick with 3-Delight rendering mode till I can afford to buy or build a new PC. I still need to work on lighting!
