Is There A Way to decrease detail in a skin texture for a more toonish look using PWtoon?

So I have alot of great textures but some of the ones I would like to use for a toon-ish scene have more detail than I would like, even when applying the PWToon shader. Is there a way to remedy this that I'm missing?

    You could go in with LIE and overlay a flat color. The texture ends up somewhat muted. Another approach is to set max diffuse to 0%. It makes the shadows more sharp and less realistic.

    Thanks for the response Will. I'm playing with the LIE now...what settings should I be fiddling with?

    Add layer, set it to whatever color is about the color you want, then set opacity to 50% or something. You can also play around with a multiplication layer. If you feel really ambitious you can change the textures with Photoshop and devibrance and otherwise mute it, but that sounds like a real pain in the rear.
