Is Bryce to DAZ useful at this point or is it obsolete?
I was wondering if it was worth the effort to create landscapes in bryce if they do not look good in DAZ.
I am not sure if Bryce is even fully supported these days.
Anybody still using it?

Chohole does. (But in another century or so, someone will lay a wreath on her Bryce-rendered headstone, too! Not that that's a problem.)
I do, make landskapes for DAZ in Bryce, well I did at least once but I'm new to Bryce and still have to learn, but yes the possibilies are valuable.
They do transfer but not the materials but I have used ground shaders, with a bit of fiddling, and they come out not too bad.
For users have a look in at the Bryce Discussion forum.

Hmmm, so it would seem it is usefull for making the basic shapes, but then it's, "fun with photoshop," from that point on.
Good to know.
Thanks all!

The bridge was really designed to be used in the opposite direction, so from DS to Bryce. The idea is to set your figures up in DS and then send them to a Bryce environement. If the poses are not quite right then you can send them back in the opposite direction to be tweaked.
These two images show a Bryce Terrain sent from Bryce to Studio, using the bridge, with a grass shader added in Studio.
And this ioone shows the opposite progression, with DAZ 3D figures sent to Bryce to be rendered. Even the sea is made from Bryce terrains.
