What from G3* goes well with G2*

I've been sticking with G2* for my figures...I have a lot of content in the v4-Gen-Gen2 range, there's a a pretty clear and easy use of v4 and gen characters on Gen 2 and the clothes do a not bad job with autofitting and tricks...

I've gotten some G3* stuff recently, but I've just archived it because, in my my mind, they're alien to the nice path of v4-gen-Gen2.

I've started thinking, though.. THAT'S DUMB.

Correct me if I'm wrong...isn't the process of fitting G3F clothes on G2F more or less the same as Gen ->G2F?  (I followed instructions here some time ago to make an autofit clone)..

So, there would be no reason to NOT use G3F clothes with G2F if I like, right?

WHAT OTHER G3* items would work fine? Characters and poses and expressions would be out, I assume because of the different bones and uvs and all...

Clothes should AutoFit with a clone (there is one in the store, or make your own). Morphs should go across with the Transfer Utility. Textures would need the bake-via-Blender trick discussed in another thread for going in the other direction.

I've recently found that with the clones in the store I can use most clothing from gen3 through to G3 on Genesis 1 figures. Not always, and sometimes there are weird glitches at the hemlines, but it's always worth making the attempt.

Yeah, I followed the tutorial around here to make a clone..is the store one better?
