workboot recommendations?

...any of you folks have any? 

i've found a few cool ones, but i doubt i've found them all. 

i'm looking for something that rises well over the ankle but not up to the knee.   lace-ups with visible shoestring ties, preferably. 

all suggestions appreciated.  any pointers or tips on griming, scuffing, and adding sole wear very welcome, too.  thanks!

    genesis 3, FSMCD, and thanks for asking.  and for saying--i had no idea that shoes were hard to autofit well.

    but i do have valzheimer's Wear Them All, and i'm trusting it to take up the slack here.
