Living on the bottom half of the planet would take some getting used to, for sure!  What would confuse me is the North winds being warm.  I'd love to be able to see the Large and Small Magelanic Clouds (loosely formed neighbor galaxies)!

You can still see the stars without light pollution in parts of Southern Australia

Spring break is over here in Austin & area.  Been in the 30s and 40s for the last 2 nights.  I hung someone's jacket in the closet and forgot to tell him.  OOPS, sorry.

Winter is coming here, am hoping to make it to June without getting  jacket out at all :)

...still having issues with the concept of Winter in June.  Although I grew up in Wisconsin and I remember one year when it was in the 40s on the 4th of July.

Winter in June is just wrong!  Can't the government pass a law? devil

Doesn't get cold enough I guess or somebody would :)

New Orleans has those po'boy hoagies.  yummi nomms   or used to, haven't been there since the 90s

This is a famous building. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lafitte's_Blacksmith_Shop or http://www.lafittesblacksmithshop.com/Homepage.html

I lived there too. Crawdads, Blue Crabs, Shrimp bigger than your thumb. All the people I went to school with weigh 300 lbs now. The food down there is just TOO good! I haven't been there in a while either.

You don't want to step on the cockroaches in NOLA. It only makes them mad. Make them mad enough, and they DO take wing. When flying, they sound like a B-17 bomber. I once had one of them dive-bombing me all night long because we were moving and had disturbed all their hiding places. Eeek!

Sounds reasonable.  After all, horses can bite with a bit in their mouth. indecision

You ever get the idea that data scientists in the early days were hungry all the time?  laugh  Bytes, bits, and nibbles!  (a nibble is 4 bits if I remember correctly).  Cereal ports.  (I spelled that wrong purposely, for comedic effect).  laugh

Korean spam is rapidly becoming a Moderators nightmare.  They are working on ways to curb it.  Currently they are posting quicker than we can make the spam fritters.   It's a spam mountain.

Ever wandered into a thread by accident and read from first post to last and then spent an hour trying to get your brain to function right again?

    Three day weekend.

Found a place that delivers beer and snacks.. and takes cash.  Saves wear and tear on the missing foot...

Might go out this weekend, found a place not too far away that is handicapped-friendly, ish/chips/English beer, patio, good reviews.  Get away from the computer.

Can't wait until I can walk again, going to make some lifestyle changes!

doh, can't remember the name of that string, in Australia,  twirl it above your head makes the noise.

was twirling a piece of conduit like the Australia string.  made a noise would get the attention of all the neighborhood buppies.
