Best IRAY / HD Male Figure

Best IRAY / HD Male Figure (for my money) is, hands down, Timothy HD for Michael 6 by ‘Raiya’. Mainly because he represents a realistic looking male. Not buff, skins not perfect, he’s older, yet his features are masculine and genuinely realistic. I’m wondering if there are other Male figures out there similar to Timothy. What’s your favorite?

    Raiya has always been one of my most favourite artists for male characters. A lot of my favourite characters over the generations are hers. I don't have Timothy though as I don't use older male characters much, and although he was in the MM sale, and I was tempted, I'm not really buying Genesis 6 characters any more. I wish I'd bought him now, of course, especially as he's HD, and I love HD characters (they are much more of a thing for men, I think).

    There are very few older characters like Timothy—perhaps Leo 7 is somewhat close (unfortunately, I just don't like him). For M4 and Genesis 1, Phoenix1966 probably did more older men than anyone—Thomas is a great example.

    I'm pretty new at Iray so I haven't had chance to try that many characters with it, and I've mostly been concentrating on G3M. I haven't been disappointed with any of them so far and I've been able to make them all look good in Iray, usually with some tweaking, but my favourites are probably Aiden HD, Dash and Rhys. I'll usually steal another character's HD morphs if the character doesn't have any, or use some of the independent HD morphs from the add-ons.

    You're image link is broken by the way. The usual way to add images to posts (unless it's in your gallery already) is to attach the image using "Attach a file" post the comment, then copy the link of your attachment, edit your post and embed it in the page using the Image tool in the tool bar (you can resize it in there if it's too large for the page) and then re-save your comment. This is what I did with the test image below.

    Thanks Hiro - Who's the guy you used on "Morning Devotions"? I found his skin to be stunning in realism. yonger model. Could have been a photo.

    Thanks—the skin is Colin for G2M (the character morph is quite a mixture). Intended as a teen character but the skin is well usable for a younger male adult (which the photos used for texturing would have been of in any case). I used various HD morphs as usual. I now always use V2Digitimes' Iray Smart Converters with G2, which I used on this.

    Thanks I have Colin in my collection but I didn't have the IRAY converters - have to seriously check that out.
