Geesh, I'm sorry to hear that, I would buy it in a second too, really nice job. My fear is any one else who would build one that would work in Poser, because yours is made and half the market is taken also since yours is so well done and Poser users are out of luck, never get a body suit like Genesis before. I hope you would reconsider if you find the time.

This costume is based on a displacement map. In DS and Poser are different principles of displacement. So make full support for Poser quite problematic.

I passed on the supersuit discount because I figured there would be a version for G2M :D

It does not work without displacement. My costume was built on the principle of second skin, but it is Сonform object.

    great suit - two questions

will there be a morph to make the ears look less plastic-dipped and more like they are under fabric?

will there be a morph to tone down the muscle definition?

I agree with both of these points, although I'll bet the requests are not possible due to the product being based on a material map.

I think the costume is absolutely fantastic, but Tim is right; the material clings to the ears like so many tops cling to the models' breasts; "dipped in plastic" is an apt analogy and it's not like real material would do on a real person.

And I never understood why sooo many comic book artists draw sharp muscle definition (and sometimes even striations evident in bodybuilders' physiques!) to be visible through clothing. Even sheer nylon stocking material always ALWAYS reduces muscle "cut". The only thing that wouldn't would be .. well, bodypaint.

These things said, I might still make a purchase. Just not for any snowball powerups or anything... ;-)

Yes, such morph is. It will be added to the G2M figure.

suit repeats the shape of the figure. If you will not use an athletic character, muscles will not be visible.

I have to say that this product looks good! I went ahead and bought and so far I love it. The work Smay did with the displacement maps are excellent and make the product.
I do have a couple of questions:
Will there be any additional textures, particularly changes in the cut of the clothing? Maybe with shorter versions of the limbs, or seams in different places?
Is there a template? I've played with the maps to see about including a logo or pattern, but could use a template to help guide me.

Smay - I Love your work!

Also, wishful thinking that you keep building on these Super Hero Suits for G2M and G2F with lots of other accessories/mask options like your expansions with Stalker Girl!

    Hi Smay,

I just purchased your great Super Hero Suit :)
I'm playing around with this suit and I wonder, how can I get this model to make it looking big or thin like in your pics above...?
Can I also put it to the standard Genesis figure which has all those features or do I have to purchase a kind of shape pack to alter the body shape of G2M and M6 ?

    Thanks

    Serge

This suit is for Genesis 2 Male, you can use character for G2M like M6 or others. I used this http://www.daz3d.com/genesis-2-male-body-morphs

I'd love to see someone do Luxus material presets. The materials do wonderful things with shader parameters that don't translate automatically to Lux settings, and, well, it's a lot of work to recreate them by hand.

  • I recently purchased the smay superhero suit. I have everything working except the materials. Everytime I render the the suit always renders glossy. I load the diffrent materials but I still get the same glossy suit.

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks

    Mack

Are you rendering in 3delight or Iray? I don't have the suit to try, but I've had items render oddly in Iray due to being made with shaders that don't quite convert on their own...

  • Iray.

Ok. Given that I was reading about it relying on displacement, if you've converted the suit shaders to Iray uber surface, make sure the displacement map is set and the displacement subdivision is at 2. (I'm guessing it doesn't have iray materials as I believe it predates Iray.) May need to adjust the gloss a bit too, but I don't know the numbers on that.

Otherwise try rendering in 3delight and it should work as expected.
