DAZ Studio 4.9 "Install" Tab

i remember reading a while back that Studio 4.9 would eventually be getting a new "Install" tab to help install/remove content via DAZ Connect better. Is there any news of that? The reason why I'm curious is because I recently did a full reset of everything DAZ-related and I want al my content to be installed via DAZ Connect instead of using any external apps like the DIM.

At this point, all we know is that it is being worked on. As are several other issues with Connect.
It does not install plugins currently - which includes Garibaldi/LAMH and GenX/GenX2.
It does not install the Generation 4 figures in a useable form (Vicky 4, Michael 4, and all the related -4 figures)
I've been using the keeping my 4.9 beta install up to date watching for changes to the DAZ Connect install tab. I haven't seen any changes yet. I suspect the change will be the option to also install shortcuts into the Content Library which you are free to re-organize anyway you like using your Computer's operating system. I've decided to create the short cuts myself and kept the organization very structured as an alternative to using the Category library... and I'm not at the mercy of CMS of losing them since they are just folders and shortcuts.
