Yesterdayi I saw that great offer and decided "wow, no better time than now, take the plunge!" . V7 for less than $5, yay!
And today she's free. Sigh.
For the offer in the shop banner you don't even need the Coupon code, you just need to have the vicky (not a bundle only vicky) and one item from the newly mad or still mad in your cart simultaniously. I chose the pc item SS macoor control room. I believe you can add other mad items to get the 50% on as well.

I got the morphs with that offer and the code and was sitting out the Vicky, as she is not really my style, but getting her for free... there was a saying about a gift horse...
This is the kind of deal that makes me realise that it never pays to be an early adopter. Don't know what I was thinking buying V7 and her morphs so early on. Shoulda just waited a bit longer...
Already have V7, now if only the offer had been for M7. Unlikely though, and even if it did happen it'd likely not be on a day with a pc+ item. :)
Well - if you bought her early you had a lot of time to play with her (and use characters that are using her as a base).
I got her when the pro bundle was super cheap if you got Girl 7 (can't remember if it had to be the pro bundle for G7 or not...) so I don't feel too bad. But I do wish Mike got equal time on these promos once in a while.

looks like upgrading to Reality 4 when I did was a good move, I need to install that since I don't use IRay.
and I didn't even look at what I bought so I might have missed some key things like textures and bumps. and clothes!
Can V7 fit into V4's wardrobe? I can cobble some sensible shoes in Blender, but it's time I learn how to rig something more adventurous.

I got her when she first came out. But I got other goodies today so its all good lol.
Already had Vicky 7, so at first I was a bit put out, but then decided I might as well get one for the computer at the office so I can practice lighting and modeling when I get some down time at work. Probably the best deal I've seen since I got into Daz.
I'm happy. I still have very little interest in G3 and whenever I do, I'm going to want a bundle, not just the base.
But I also really wanted lots of stuff from the Madness today, so it worked out very nicely.
I think at this point, everyone who switched to G3 already has Vicky so I'd really appreciate "buy this, choose one free character" type of deal like there once was with Genesis 2.
But this gives a chance for eveyrone to try out G3 so congrats to everyone who got her for free today : )

Well, there was chatter yesterday about the entry cost of Genesis 3, and it makes sense at this point to do things like this.
The sorts of people who want the newest and best will have already gotten it, of course. And while it's nice to have V7 base free, like I said, if you are serious about it you almost certainly bought a bundle. So it seems a nicely targetted item for folks reluctant about G3.
I got the Bethany rather early with a good deal and that gave me some nice other things later for a real nice price, so there are alway different ways to go to happiness.
Can we get free temple and a sword to go with her? :)

Of course this only helps with the entry cost for G3F. Seems they forgot the male G3 again.
The entry cost of Genesis 3 includes both figures and a bunch of other stuff. Look at it as that much less you have to spend so you can buy M7. ;)
If not now, in the not too distant future M7 will have his deep discount day, too...
And yes, there is a distinct pattern to this stuff (as in they've been doing similar types of promos for years now).

Yes, thank you for that. And add me to the list of people who would have liked it to be M7 (though I can't afford to take advantage of this again - even at PC prices)
