Yeah, I *was* going to mention the DOs earlier because I thought it was my imagination... I haven't actually seen many DO new releases during this year's MM so far :o
Except this one has been mostly PA product with very little in the way of DOs.
My thought was that MM was intended to be about the same as the Xmas Punchard sale - nice deals on new releases especially buying a couple (which this MM has) while also putting some older items on sale at big discounts (which this MM doesnt really.) That said it's the first week and the first week of the other recent sales were not great compared to their later weeks.
Also saying that one part is not what one expected does not mean that the sale is bad.
I was going to complain about the "hidden" sales and needing to have read the right forum post at the right time for others, but it's not like I haven't gotten insane deals thanks to exploring sale rules before so ... those who put in the effort get rewarded I guess~
Yeah... now that you mention it, where are all the DOs hiding?
Indeed, with the exception of PC+ items, the only DO's so far in MM were a couple of G3F outfits, and an additional texture set for one of those outfits.
Last year, we had Darius and Monique during MM. Girl/Guy 7 were released outside of the MM sale, so perhaps we'll get another figure soon? Aiko or Mei Lin?

The terms of this year's MM are better than last year's. Last year, the 40%/50% discount was only triggered by buying new arrivals, and (i think) only applied to them too. If you're PC+ it's good, as the discounts apply to PC+ prices too, and they often don't in Daz sales (though, as has been pointed out, we very recently had 60% off all PC+ prices so it's not that big a deal).
What I'm looking out for is other sales that stack with the MM discount (that's what I look for with punch sales too, for that matter). I was lucky enough to get the 50% off Daz Originals last week, and stacking it with MM and my PC+ discount got 83% off a load of Goldtassel hairs.
The daily mindblower isn't that big a deal for me one way of the other. If you like and can use/afford it, you get a small extra discount. A nice bonus, but you have to be spending a lot of cash to make it a meaningful amount.
I see no Download type information yet for today's Nomad item (there is for the textures). So is it Connect only or not? I'm certainly not going to buy/return to find out...

I would guess that it is not connect-only, as the add-on texture pack is DIM and manual install, but I'm still not taking any chances.
It would be nice to have a checkbox filter on the website just like for "Items i own" and "Only show PC+" to hide Connect items, it's really easy to miss that an item is Connect only, at least I forget to check that all the time.
Oh, we've asked. And for Connect only items to be marked on the store index (for 4.8 users and Poser users etc.) And for store items to list the software they actually work on. And for links to the Product Index page on store items.
Yep, did so too. And got the head morphs for 1.39. Too bad I already had the body morphs. Sometimes I lack patience. Ok, Vic 7, get into that control room.

I have yet to buy anything is March and a bit disappointed. But not every sale can appeal to everyone so I shall wait and see what the rest of the month holds. So far my bank account is happy.
I'm actually buying quite a bit from Fast Grab this month now that it's changing more often. :) Also wanted to say thanks for the V7 deal as well and for allowing it to work with PC items. I never buy sci-fi stuff because I only render fantasy, but that new sci-fi room set will be excellent for doing interior render tests because it's so detailed.

Mec4d's Unshaven 2 is in today's Fast Grab. If you don't already own it, now's you're chance. I bought it when it was released, and I still consider it one of my best investments in 3D products.
I made my first MM purchase today. to get the V7 expression morph sets. (I already had the other three items.) I bought the Tactical Knife Set. I toyed with the idea of buying the PC+ item, but decided I could actually use the knives on a scene I've been working on for the past several weeks.
