How do I remove the yellow hilite? - Solved

I never noticed this yesterday but now today in 4.9 no matter which tool I have selected when I move the pointer over any item in my scene it hilites in yellow and its very annoying.  Is there a setting to stop this from happening?  I have searched every menu but found nothing yet

    Window > Panes > Draw Settings, under General set "Draw Style" to "Bounding Box Only"

    thaks mike, I think that's the one place I didn't look blush
