  • I'm not at home to look at the exact wording of everything at the moment, but you can try going to your start menu in windows and typing hexagon.exe I think it is and it should show up in the list. Then right click to go to "open file location", once it opens, copy and paste the directory path at the top into the DAZ search popup that asks you for the location of hexagon, which will then show hexagon in its list, then click it and hit ok or however its worded.

    Hope it helps.

  • You can also go to your products page and type in Hexagon a download link should pop up if you have it. once installed go to the serial numbers page and get the key for it there.

  • It's works separated from Daz? I spent 30 minutes watching begginers tutorials of how using hexagon and I can't locate it. Please help! Can't find the Hexagon.exe

  • http://www.daz3d.com/hexagon-2-5-download-version Or check My Account: Product Library -- search Hexagon. If you've already bought it you can download to your computer from there, and then install it onto your computer.

Don't add the .exe, just type Hexagon. Daz Studio should have a File>Send to Hexagon command in its menus. However, the product page you show is a tutorial not Hexagon - http://www.daz3d.com/hexagon-2-5-download-version

In a typical Windows install, it should be in C:\Program Files (x86)\DAZ 3D\Hexagon and there should be an entry in your <User> Programs menu for it under DAZ 3D as well.

If you fail to find it you can log on as stated above & re-download it and install it.

Also, in the DAZ Install Manager check to make you have configure DAZ Install Manager to download all your DAZ Programs and Content, e.g. Hexagon, Bryce, DAZ Studio, DAZ Studio Public Beta (if you want Betas) and have not hidden them. I have set my download cache to an external drive and tell the download to not delete the downloads after installing. Make sure you haven't hidden Hexagon in Ready to Download in the Ready to Download list.

Finally if you know you've installed with the DAZ Install Manager then go to the list of Installed program and uninstall Hexagon and then you can reinstall it as it should should be up in the Ready to Install list.

Sometimes programs get installed in an oddball folder like in downloads. One thing you can try is download a free hex model like http://www.sharecg.com/v/13081/favorite/5/3D-Model/Starter-Dress-for-Victoria-4 and then unzip and double-click the hxn file... Hexagon should open it if its installed correctly on your system.

  • Thanks for all answers! Richard you were right. I have a tutorial, not the hexagon. I purchased it recently but I can't download from the install manager. I refreshed it but nothing happens. It's the first time I have a problem with the install manager. Help please!

  • I haven't used Hexagon enough to give a good answer on that but
I would suggest opening a new thread in the Hexagon forum for it.

You may get more answers quicker there: http://www.daz3d.com/forums/categories/hexagon-discussion
