Out of the list I just have V7 and thanks to the SimTenero Randomizer, I really have no need for any more, but I am always open to suggestions that might sway me.
I have V7, Gia7, Arabella7, & Olympia 7. Of that list I use V7 & Olympia. Arabella I grabbed on sale to get her wardrobe. Gia I picked up to get the discount on Gianni (which was the one I was REALLY waiting for). From Gen 6 the ones I use the most are Gianni, Lee, and Mike and Darious. I've been grabbing their upgrades as they hit. Mei Lin heself isnt ooh I need, Lee is. But it is nice to see thme bringing out the alternate skin mats finally instead of more caucasians.
I'm sad to report I didn't like mei Lin 6 at all. Her face and expressions were wooden. She is my least used gen 6 figure. I won't rush to buy a gen 7 version
Well at least we probably know whos next then. Maybe released during March Madness perhaps? ::::shrug::::: Hopefully she looks nice.
Looks like Aiko and Lilith 7 might be spring/summer maybe.
starting to look like they are releasing couples lately so if Mei is next she'll be followed by Lee, so with Aiko 7 would her malr counterpart be Hiro 7? Maybe those that missed a 6 version will get Freak/She Freak 7. Stephanie 7 did any Stephanie's have a male counterpart?
David was Stephanie's counterpart originally.
I wasn't impressed with Mei Lin 6, either, but I did pick up the base fiugre on one of those buy a new release and get one of these for 80% off sales. (I think it was 80%...) Anyway, I find myself using her a lot, for "just for fun" renders. I rather like her now.
I didnt love the morph, but I loved the texture. And then Mongolian beauty by 3d-GHDesign came out and I was set for morphs
only David can find is David 5 haven't got him but often considered getting him has a different look same with Leo 7 think they'd both be good supporting characters that stand out from the background characters
You are right, I forgot about the pairing, so yes Lee maybe next in line after Mei lin. I suppose with the speed in which they are releasing characters lately, to say aiko and lilith in spring/summer may still be right.
And that brings up a point: who is Liliths counterpart?
Lilith 6 didn't require a counterpart. The only things about her which seemed customised for an 'evil' character were some of the cosmetic options (which you could obtain for any character through other products). Lilith worked just as well as a good-natured fairy, astronaut, priestess or whatever else you might want. Just as you could put Victoria (or the basic G2F figure) in 'evil'-looking cosmetics/hair/clothing and have them stand in perfectly well for that part. Never be fooled by the promotional art hype! :)
Arabella 7 was more of a deliberately vampish/gothic look, in terms of shape. But even then, she also works just as well as virtually anything. However, there is a very pale skin product made specifically for her, which defniitely helps with vampire-related art.
The only figures for which a reasonable argument could be made in requiring a counterpart of the opposing gender, are when the character is stylised or of a certain ethnicity (or, in some cases, creatures), because then you need something specific for when you want to populate a scene with multiple different characters of that type (which is also why assymmetrical skin blemishes can make me avoid a purchase, as I wouldn't be able to use the same skin for multiple different characters, such as family relations).
well looking through the g2m's figs can't really pick a counterpart for L6 to work out L7's being a devil girl type thought at first of FW's Sebastion Incubis but they had a female counterpart already, reckon he'd have to be a big bulky type guy to compliment Lilliith a small guy wouldn't look right with her maybe something along the lines of Rawart's characters Legendary Demon, Hob Troll, Ogora and such maybe call him Brute 7 if they don't do Freak7/She-Freak7 and pay Rawart to create some characters for the bundles. A specilised male/female base figure made to be able to easily create human creature hybrids would be cool that you could easily mix match body parts from animals, bugs and other creatures with a humanoid base as well as extra arms extra as a base for creature creator 3 would really be cool I can dream/wish anyway

:) that's ok nah it's just nice sometimes to pair up of course I don't think I've ever gone out of the way to pair up specific characters like this character must be with that one if there are any pairings they usually the Captain Kirk pairing philosiphy they don't care who or what they're paired up with
A counterpart for Keiko 6 would have been nice, though...

The first David was in the gen 3 figures. (There was a version of Aiko 3 that could wear Steph Petite clothes, and similarly a version of Hiro that could wear David's)

There's little in Lilith 6 that I can't replicate somewhere between Olympia 7 and Gia 7. I'm glad Mei Lin 7's coming along, but there's little in the G2F space I'm still really anxious for -- honestly, Karen 7 took the place of so many of the base figures I was otherwise using in my renders.
Looking forward to Mei Lin 7. I love the Gen 6 version. Hopefully a G3F kimono will be released as well :)

...bugger, no shape support for Josie7 and the texture set has an urban camo scheme as well. Would have been great for my Leela character.
