Guardian Outfit G3F problems

Is anyone having any problems with this outfit? I want to check and see if it's something I'm doing wrong before I submit tickets.

The bikini bottom deforms HORRIBLY in certain poses - and these poses aren't whacky poses or anything out of the norm. I want to include a screenshot but not sure if it'll be allowed as it is a crotch shot. The pose is a simple one with G3F on one knee with the other knee up, and the front of the bikini bottom just goes kablooey.

Also the boots.....when G3 is kneeling and her toes are flat against the ground, but the rest of the boot is kinda up....the toe part of the boot flips right up exposing her toes. There is a "zero toes" pose included, but applying that just straightens her foot out which is useless in a pose.

I'm just trying to see if I'm missing something before I send in a ticket.

Also can I show the screenshot of the deformed crotch area of the bikini bottom? model has texture on but there is no pubic hair nor is it a graphic genitalia area.

  • Just don't use realistic textures on the figure.  Set them to white.

  • Give us some shots, not saying I don't believe you but these are top class vendors and I just can't really see it happening !

which is why i posted here instead of going straight for a support ticket - I keep thinking I've done something wrong because the vendors are too top-notch. Getting a shot ready now.

ok you can see the crotch problems here, and the pose isn't too 'out there'. It's from Action Poses for Gen3.

That looks like a jcm distortion.

To verify, if I am probably right, you can activate "Show Hidden Properties" in the parameter tab of the bikini bottom and look for  everything that starts with pJCMThigh

Manipulate the slider and look what happens.

Thanks. Tried that, played with the sliders and there is definitely movement, but not a single one of them fixes it at all. It's incredibly deformed. Also the back of the bikini bottom in that pose comes WAY out.

REALLY disappointed in this. Bought it in December so it's too late to return it. I'm going to submit a ticket.

nope. It came with the pro ack I think and I gave up after a while. I tend not to use a lot of the outfit in pro packs. I usually buy them for hair and characters.

  • Ahh. I know what happened, here. This outfit has been done for a long time - and during that time the Genesis 3 Female base went through some significant development changes. It made the JCMs created for the original version very different than what is needed for it now. This is why you are seeing what you are seeing. I'll put an update out for this outfit as soon as I can that will fix this right up for you. :)

    My applogizies for the frustration!

I hope you got the bundle cheap.

Rigging bikini pants for G3 is really a pain :-(  I did not found out why, but the jcms in that area can be annoying.

On the other hand, rigging shirts, dresses etc. is fun :-)

Edit: You can try to take a closer look at the weightmaps or use Transfer Utility just to see, if the pants fit better then.

Eeep, lost ebots for this thread so never saw you post this. Thank you Bluebird3d, for working on the update for it :) Do you have an ETA on the fix? Nothing has come though via Updates (although I no longer use DIM so I'm hoping it would show in "Pending" or "Updates" via connect in Smart Content). I haven't heard back on the ticket I put in for it, so was just wondering how it was going. :)

@Bluebird 3D, do you know what is happening with this? There's been no updates on it and my support ticket is still pending.
