And it's another stacking discount if one has purchased the Girl 7.
I remember the original Guy, but he was never an official DAZ Original, let alone a character base. So no telling whether this is a spin-off, or whether he's a whole new product that's taken on the name. But he has been officially announced, and seems to be another case of a female/male matched set.

Oh, and DAZ, there's a typo... I recognize it because I can't begin to count how many times I've had to fix this myself... the old fingers seem to prefer itmes to items... lol
Yeah, and the last time I pointed out a typo they didn't bother to fix it the entire time the sale went on. Either they hope we don't see it or they don't have time to fix it. I can see items getting turned around too. My word is "their" (thier)

The Punchard sale in December had me confused for so long. I thought Punchard was meant to be the character thing on the promo.
is it just me or I think that there is something wrong with the eyes and mouth of the girl 7?
She's a toon
I know, that she is a toon, but look at her: eyes have something weird and mouth (lips) are really outsized in a strange way. Girls 6 didn't have this weirdness

Interesting that Guy 7 will get a starter and a pro bundle, the last stylized male, ie Cory 6, had to do with just a small bundle of 5 items.
If only Cory had a full starter and pro bundle...
I really hope that Guy 7 matches Girl 7 in tooniness, as opposed to Cory 6, who, uh, didn't really match Callie 6, to put it charitably.
In other news, I'm really digging Girl 7, and I might even buy one of her bundles, which I've never done before with a newly released character.

her beeing toon is all fine, still I think she doesn't look like a girl (I mean a late teen or early tween) she has the features of a (toon) woman in her 40's and its not just the greyish hair its really in the shapes of her face
"Girl" can be used for adults too. I don't think any of the Girl's editions have looked remotely teeny; she's always appeared fully matured pinup (by default.)
To be fair, as ugly as Cory 6 was,that only affected the base shape, the characters based on him looked better, and any bundled clothing/hair can be used with any figure.
Girl 6 seemed to be a good bit more realistic than previous iterations. Girl 7 seems to be hearkening back to the earlier generations. The eyes and lips remind me a bit of Callie 6 (who seemed more like older versions of the Girl than Girl 6 did).
Seeing DAZ give the Guy another try gives me a tiny bit of hope that maybe, just maybe, they'll take a chance on Freak and She-Freak for this generation. Who knows, maybe even the long-awaited (and apparently mythical) DAZ Cow and Unflateable Pony. One can only hope.
I think it's really cool that we have this dual release thing going on each month (since there've been male figures) after all those no male support complaints last year. At least in terms of DO content, males have been much better represented so far, and it's good to see that continuining.
Although personally speaking I am not a big fan of stylized characters, I feel Girl 7 is the best looking Girl character to date. I think she is the closest match yet to the "disney" style of toons, even if the figure shape is somewhat more voluptuous than the characters in one of its typical movies. Dialling in the Girl 7 head to 100%, but the body to say, 50%, will get a character closer to the disney norm, if that is what people want, for fan art etc.

I always think of the 1940s or whenever things with the war guys and then you have the pinup star singing on the stage, and one of the guy's saying "she's my girl" - that's the sort of image I think of when I think of the Girl.
I think Cory is like the family member the rest of the family tries not to talk about. Just keep him locked in an attic room and have the servants take his meals up to him. That said, I still did buy him a while back, at a steep discount. I'll probably so the same with Bethany; I don't care for rhe figure, but the bundle has enough items I like to make it worth it on sale. I seem to have a completist mentality; that's bad for the wallet.
Google "Jessica Rabbit" who appeared in the Disney film "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" for a more Girl 7 type of shape. Jessica Rabbit was definitely not portraying a girl in her teens/tweens!

Aiko 7, +1!!! me too, and may I add mei lin 7 and monique 7? lol. In the cartoon product line, aiko was indeed my fav. Can't wait A7
