How to install 4.9 without Connect?

I have installed 4.9 on a second PC but don't want to use connect. I have a screen open with the option of Work Offline or "Connect to your DAZ 3D account". If I enter my details will it default to using Connect? What are the consequences of working offline.

Yes, I have read the FAQ but can't find these answers.

    Working offline means that you won't use Connect at all.

    If you use "Connect to your DAZ3D Account" DS will download the key that enables you to use encrypted content the first time. After that you will be able to use Connect to download your items while you are logged in, but it won't download any product unless you tell it to.

    OK thanks. I think I'll stick with Offline for now and carry on using DIM.

    I set it up that way since I dont use SC or DIM so far its been without a problem
